  1. Only when you download something? That's certainly odd, if they don't know and it is caused by their network it'll be hard to get to the bottom of it - have they not had you collect any data or anything?
  2. We just launched a new firmware in Early Access, can you try that and see if you get the same issues please?
  3. If the above is the same as when you're directly connected to your modem it's not something we can help with, you'd need to contact your ISP provider about that
  4. I'll chase the team on this
  5. You can use DMZ or port forwarding, both are not required - if you have an Open NAT you're good.
  6. I'm sure they will be trying to prioritize it but doesn't mean it'll always be possible to have you connect to your local server
  7. You need to have the word client at the top of the config but yes its possible if you select a server that is too far away it will timeout and prevent you connecting to it.
  8. I'll let the team know about that server so they can get it added. You're throttling upload too much and download not enough, put them both at 70% then see if that behaves any better for you.
  9. Thanks for the feedback, you've returned the router and so it's not longer something we need to keep discussing, you have your position and I've given you our position on it. I'm not going to keep arguing this with you especially with personal comments involved.
  10. As above make sure DMZ is disabled, you don't need both enabled either, also what is the rule you're trying to make exactly?
  11. Okay so you're getting lower speeds because your traffic prioritization rule is being triggered - if you're not gaming then it's something else on the device using a port between 1024 - 65535 a torrent for example - if you figure out what that is and stop it the rule will stop triggering and you'll get normal speeds
  12. Added you both
  13. Did you set the reserved IPs? If you didn't then disabling DHCP would prevent devices connecting. Make sure you've reserved the IPs for devices, reboot the router, disable DHCP then check again.
  14. Ah that's great to hear, well done for figuring it out and thanks for posting the solution!
  15. You've changed the interval to 0.5, this is too low and will change packet loss regardless, change it back to the default 2.5 then do it again please
  16. Potentially, factory reset it then see if you can access normally with the default LAN IP then change the IP and see if it works after that
  17. What is the actual page you're seeing when accessing via the web browser? Once you've accessed via the app can you then access via the web browser?
  18. This has been suggested before as you mentioned. Once we've eliminated any remaining issues we'll be looking into user requests to see what we can get added.
  19. I'd suggest testing with downloads while following: https://bit.ly/bufferbloat-test start with a high value e.g 95%, test, decrease 10%, test, decrease 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good, then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Important to note that Download/Upload on CC don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This is more of a real world test as you're actually doing traffic you would normally do.
  20. Now disable DHCP/use the router as a DHCP server and see if it continues please
  21. You don't add the router to the VPN you add the individual devices you want the VPN to apply to. Adding a device to the VPN isn't dependent on the VPN provider you use, if the VPN has connected then add the device and it'll work. Where are you measuring the ping, in game or on the Geo-Filter? Disable Steady Ping on the Geo-Filter and the ping should go down.
  22. Go to the firmware topic pinned to the top of Early Access forum https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
  23. Smoother in what sense? SmartBOOST & Congestion Control should be used to eliminate any local congestion so your ping stays low
