  1. It's likely then that the server is under heavy load, in which case you should get a lower ping overall if you force a different server, even if it is slightly further away
  2. You should have received an adapter in the box that can attached to the BF type, did you get this?
  3. There is bandwidth reservation but there isn't a way to limit each device. The whole point of SmartBOOST is that it intelligently prioritizes and allocates bandwidth based on your rule list
  4. We're aware SmartBOOST isn't working properly in conjunction with HybridVPN - it makes sense, you're connected through a tunnel so it can't see specifically what you're doing but we're looking into improving the two together.
  5. The biggest difference will be going with the R3 given it has DumaOS 4 and that won't be coming to the XR series. I wouldn't suggest getting an R2 even though it will get DumaOS 4 just due to the fact you wouldn't have any warranty. You'll have a lot of new features with more coming if you go with the R3.
  6. In any scenario where the in game ping is higher than the Geo-Filter that will be the game processing delay, it's not something we have any control over but it can be used as a measurement to see how overloaded a server is. As long as it's not 30ms higher than the Geo you're good. Do you have Ping Assist enabled? Are you changing Geo settings between matches? Just to clarify, the lower upload speed you only see on the console but other devices you see the normal speed? 20 is absolutely plenty for gaming so that wouldn't be the cause of your in game experience. It would be worth doing a factory reset as it's a big update and may run smoother after that. No specific reason, it won't always be a bigger file. It is yes but it doesn't have remote logging enabled so if that's something you'd rather not have then would recommend using this one. You'd need to contact them for the config file but looks like they don't provide it unfortunately from the above comment. Clear your browser cache/cookies and you should be able to load the devices and select them. May be best to factory reset as it's a big jump in firmware and should then run smoother. Thanks, I will pass that onto the team to take a look at. If you click on the device there, does it show filtering is enabled? Disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN and it should work then. Clear your browser cache/cookies and you should be able to see it then.
  7. Is that what the Geo-Filter ping shows or in game? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  8. It's a firmware issue so will require a fix, the only thing you can do at the moment is wait for the device to connect
  9. Have a look at our optimal settings guides here: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/folders/16000090646 they should get you started, any questions let us know!
  10. According to the logs it's an authorization failure so just double check the username/password used are correct and try again
  11. That's what SmartBOOST is essentially, add your device/activity there and it will be prioritized
  12. That makes sense, the more interference from other devices in the area the more higher widths will suffer but they do allow for much faster speeds. CPU should be fine at that level but good to know thanks!
  13. Brilliant, thanks for the update!
  14. We're doing more work on IPv6 at the moment so it may be hit or miss currently. I haven't played the game personally but as the connection varies a lot using the expert mode when you know what the ping is may be beneficial.
  15. I don't have an ETA for an update, it will come to the R2 yes, this will be easier once the R2 has DumaOS 4 as well
  16. Not that I know of no, the connection would need to be severed for at least 2 minutes so it knows not to block it anymore so perhaps if you reboot and then try it again right away that's why it doesn't get allowed until you reboot the router.
  17. Not sure about xDefiant (we're still testing that game, it's not easy to filter) but for Fortnite you'll only see a server when you've actually loading into the matchmade game lobby - do you see it then or when in a game?
  18. Is this with the lowered Congestion Control settings also? Switch out the ethernet cable connecting the R3 to your modem and see if it's better after that
  19. Copy the WAN IP from the WAN Settings page on the R3, then access your ISP modem/router, find the DMZ option and paste it in there. Please let us know once you've done that. Also in the meantime, if you change the WiFi width to 80 do you get better speeds or range?
  20. Great thanks!
  21. The Ping Optimizer ping is completely different to your game ping - PO shows your base ping essentially, the ping you'll have before you connect to anything on the internet really so your game ping will be higher than this.
  22. I'm not sure, I'll need to check - what has your speed gone up to after changing the width?
  23. What do you mean it would automatically connect to your PC? Could you do a factory reset please and then see if the issue keeps happening? If it does I can get the dev team to take a look as they would be keen to get this sorted.
