Netduma Fraser replied to yerisox's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes before accessing, then see if it loads -
Cant get a game islnside of geo filter
Netduma Fraser replied to Sam manning's topic in Netduma R3 Support
As above, are you making a change while on the game? If so you will need to at least restart the game. -
XR500 Wireless Question
Netduma Fraser replied to revoit's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Primary and Secondary yes, I think the primary is the upper but I can't be certain, it's a NG implementation -
DumaOS 4 para XR1000
Netduma Fraser replied to Vicmepa's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The XR range is NG hardware so they will always have the final say, that's why with our own we're able to release firmware faster on our own schedule. -
2 Router Disconnects in 2 days...DHCP issues again?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We're actively looking into the disconnects so that will get resolved, if you think that's the issue for you then it's worth a try, it may well not be the same issue we're investigating. -
2 Router Disconnects in 2 days...DHCP issues again?

You shouldn't need to but we're troubleshooting to see if what you suspect is the issue -
2 Router Disconnects in 2 days...DHCP issues again?
Netduma Fraser replied to banjo22's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Assign reserved IP addresses to devices so they're out of the DHCP range, then disable DHCP, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects. It's important you reserved all the devices IP addresses otherwise they won't be able to connect to the router. -
Nat Type Open Call Of Duty MW3/Warzone
Netduma Fraser replied to Caaq's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
To disable either toggle filtering mode or delete the device. If you follow the CG-NAT section at the bottom of this guide: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000076587-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-open-nat what results do you get?- 7 replies

DUMA3 needs to be hard reset EVERY SINGLE DAY
Netduma Fraser replied to MackMurder's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's an authentication server required for online play and absolutely shouldn't be banned - I'm actually surprised you were able to, usually we block you doing that for these servers so I'll raise that with the team, who knows how many other people have done this! Thanks for the report! The thing with Ping Heatmap is that games update their servers way more than you would think and so it's almost impossible for it to be 100% accurate, 100% of the time which is why we usually reserve doing any updates for it when a game update has happened when it's more likely there has been a change or when a customer reports it, now you've reported it I'll pass it on for an update. The PC into PlayStation is an old trick, it isn't necessary to do but some people find they have a better experience doing so - it's basically DPI vs Ports. DPI has the potential to become out of date whereas the ports won't be. -
Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update!

That will only change when using a VPN, not when changing location on the Geo-Filter

Check the IP on the PC itself, then check the device you think it is on the Device Manager, do the IPs match?

Geofilter
Netduma Fraser replied to Proud R3 Owner's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
I did pass it on, it will not be a quick fix if it's using relay servers and may not be possible to filter properly if that is the case -
Ping Related Issues
Netduma Fraser replied to 11nate's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It doesn't really work like that but I get your reasoning, although the servers used will be different and so the results could be completely different, trying with the PS5 could provide some other results to go off, let us know what you get! -
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Netduma Fraser replied to Jeofel08's topic in New Games for the Geo-Filter
I've passed it on but I can't give an ETA as to when it may be added -
Nat Type Open Call Of Duty MW3/Warzone
Netduma Fraser replied to Caaq's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What is the model of the modem/router the XR is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the XR? E.g. XR in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Set NAT to Open in WAN settings and then check again to see if it helps- 7 replies

Not connecting to my nearest server
Netduma Fraser replied to ShinyShelvey's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Okay so it won't be the router then, it'll actually be the game not using the server at this time, if it's only happened recently then it's possible that its down for maintenance -
If you don't reply to my last comment I don't know whether you're still having the issue or not and can't help troubleshoot/diagnose. If you comment in the disconnect topic here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56332-r3-disconnections/ a dev may be able to apply changes to the router that could help with the issue.
