Can you run the test then get the logs right after please? -
Wifi connection to Xbox Series X
Netduma Fraser replied to FrankTheFreak's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It could be interference, not necessarily due to the other devices working but could you provide a description of where it is or better yet a picture? -
That's good to hear, hopefully it continues!

How far away are the consoles from the router exactly? Are you always using 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz? If so try 2.4, it has better range, penetration of hard surfaces and generally a bit more stable and see if it works better then please. -
Glad to hear you got it sorted, thanks for the update!

If you have an Open NAT then ports will be being opened correctly, if they weren't you'd have a moderate or strict NAT, either UPnP isn't showing it but is opening it in the background in which case we can sort that or it isn't required for the game/Open NAT at that time. People on the forum are always suggesting different things to try and gain an edge but it's not something we've ever specifically recommended doing because you're just assigning bandwidth and gaming doesn't use much anyway so it wouldn't improve anything in theory. It does sound like the Geo-Filter is doing its job getting you low ping servers and keeping it stable, could you provide a video of what you're seeing in game please? You have an Open NAT so further port forwarding wouldn't do anything but you could try putting your PS5 in the DMZ on the R3 which is essentially passing all traffic through to the device, people use it to open their NAT.

What is the starting ping you have when doing the test? -
It's not discrimination, there aren't any new features for the game, we're just stating the server locations - it's essentially a repost from the beta awhile ago, nothing new, you haven't been forgotten. He is working on it.

It does but I'll need to see what its showing to make an accurate assessment, no rush, whenever you can provide a screenshot - I'll still be around for another 4 hours or so - otherwise I'll pick it up tomorrow

We'll push through an alternate cloud version for you to see if that works better

It's hard to say without seeing it - most likely you're referring to the Irish authentication server which you will always connect to but it won't be the game server and then there will be another server in the US that will be your game server

Also if that doesn't work, do both consoles have the same issue or just yours? -
Can you provide a screenshot of the Geo-Filter page showing what you see when this happens please?

Are you able to access this website and complete a test? https://speed.measurementlab.net/#/ -
Thanks for that, it does appear the R2 isn't able to get out to the internet properly like it's being restricted, could you take it out of that VLAN you mentioned and then see if it works correctly please?

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. We are aware of the delay issue but that shouldn't prevent it connecting at all. What settings on the router have you changed specifically for the console? -
You're not really going to see any improvements with reserving bandwidth unless the device was trying to use more bandwidth than it was able to get but generally SmartBOOST should be doing a good job of juggling everything so it has what it needs. With the desync, what ping are you seeing on the Geo-Filter/in game when it happens? Is the ping unstable, does it spike etc? You've port forwarded by the looks of it so UPnP doesn't need to be active to open those ports as you've already opened them.
