  1. Okay disable Armor then check again please
  2. Use the Simple radius instead of the polygons and see if it works better then please. Also for the first step make sure you're quitting the actual client e.g. Steam, Battle.net from the System Tray on the PC also
  3. It does work yes, it's not always 100% reliable which is why we are rewriting the feature entirely but it should have worked for you at some point. I suspect then that something may be blocking it. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  4. Sorry to hear that, you're welcome, as commiseration I can offer you 30% off an R3 if that's something you'd be interested in.
  5. No it won't affect gaming at all whether it's enabled or disabled
  6. Do the following please: Quit the game and game client completely (e.g. Steam, Battle.net including from the System Tray) Remove device from the Geo-Filter In the Device Manager give the PC a PlayStation device type Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter (it should now add with the Console service) Set up the Geo-Filter how you like I've added a step to the above. Always use the simple radius mode for the moment. Make sure Geo-Latency is disabled. Remove all the denied servers you have added, when someone has added so many the likelihood of blocking something that is required to get you a game increases. Once you've done all that actually reboot the PC, then try again please.
  7. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.
  8. So Ping Optimizer essentially runs tests to identify the best percentages for Congestion Control - Simple will just test the download and make changes, Expert will test both download & upload and make changes to both. Personally instead of either of those options, I'd follow this guide: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000074717-how-to-test-your-internet-ping while downloading/streaming on your network then start with a high value for Congestion Control (set to Always), say 95% then check, decrease by 10%, check, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values. In my opinion this is the best way to do it as it's a real world test using traffic you would normally do and see how Congestion Control manages that real traffic. You don't need the app or browser open for the interface for it to function but you can have it open if you want to monitor the Geo-Filter for example.
  9. All it does is make your speed tests more accurate, so if you want them to be as accurate as possible I'd suggest leaving it enabled.
  10. With AP mode DumaOS features are disabled so if you want to use QoS you'll have to use it in router mode. Ideally for it to work properly you'd have your ISP modem/router handle PPPoE.
  11. I'll check with Alex and see if he can do one next week

  13. The remote access option is for developers to connect for specific bugs not for everyday support. What do you mean by DHCP IDs? Glad it's all working now, keep us posted!
  14. We don't do remote support but have you set your expected bandwidth speeds on the router? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the router? Was the PC wired when you did a test? Are you testing the speed on the router or speedtest.net?
  15. Using expert you're setting a target ping so yes you could set it to 20ms theoretically to account for those spikes. I don't think it was working properly like this in the past and more just adding a delay but with recent fixes to it, it should work how I've described.
  16. It was removed as the game can't be filtered but I've requested it be added back so people can still ping it/have Steady Ping apply
  17. I responded to you here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56065-early-access-firmware-r3-dumaos-40236-ipv6-and-steady-ping-fixes/?do=findComment&comment=418292
  18. Are you using Armor? What web browser are you using? Do you have a browser based Adblocker enabled? Is the browser or you forcing a connection to the interface using HTTPS?
  19. Ahh that's good to hear, well done, yes that's correct for the beta version
  20. We've had our CEO chase them about it and waiting to hear back so I don't think you'll need to do this
  21. We've had our CEO chase them about it and waiting to hear back
  22. If you disable filtering on the device so you're just letting the game decide where to put you, do you ever get that lowest ping server at all?
  23. So there are a couple of ways you can do it really, you can use the generic Gaming activity which will prioritize any game on any device that it detects is playing. If you want both devices to be prioritized when they play then this is the best option. Otherwise, you can select the specific game so it will only prioritize when that game is being played. Then adding the device will complement the activity priority, if you're not concerned with prioritizing the other device too much then just add the main PC here.
  24. That's good to hear, thanks for the update!
