  1. I certainly am, I'm basically everywhere! Of course, not at all, I get your confusion as to why you would have expected the R3 USB port to have function considering the XR500 did. The XR range had DumaOS & NG software, there software was all in the settings and included the USB functionality so it was already there when DumaOS was put on it, we've not actually developed any USB functionality ourselves ever (yet). No worries at all, just follow the details in the email.
  2. In the Geo-Filter menu ( ) > Settings
  3. Steady Ping does add ping so that it can absorb spikes/jitter so you have 1 consistent ping to the server and allows you to be more in sync. If your fluctuations really are that low then try without it and see if you get a better experience. We explained it more in a video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IElhhEi70Pg
  4. Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.
  5. It's only available for PC yes but technically it would then apply to the console because it's getting its internet from the PC - technically it should, of course in practice it may not. There are a couple other services like that such as WTFast, have a look around, maybe one has a trial
  6. Note taken - really hates factory resets! Are there any settings on the router that you've made specifically for either device? Did you have the issue before making the port forwarding rules for example?
  7. At least here in the UK VLAN isn't very common and if something is required it's usually PPPoE. From what we've seen generally it's either one or the other, we don't get it too often where both are used but I take your point. I will definitely let the team know so they can look into it. You're welcome!
  8. Obviously put your location/radius around the server you want first.
  9. Only PC I think but you'd need to double check, if it is you could technically bridge the connection so the PS gets the internet from the PC that way, maybe that would work
  10. There is a bit of weirdness in the logs but nothing directly connected to the issue, what firmware version are you on? If you haven't done a factory reset for awhile I think this may be a good time to do so.
  11. They could do something potentially but I don't think I've seen anyone successfully had them do it. Reason is that it's not a required change, if for example you were a professional gamer they *might* do something but only because it is vital to your business but even then I think you'd need to have a business internet account for them to really take it seriously. From what I've seen, those with particularly bad routing do have good success with something like ExitLag which is essentially a VPN but it just uses it to route you better to a gaming server.
  12. It could be that VLAN/PPPoE combo again, if you do what you did before to take that out of the equation do they increase? How is Congestion Control set currently? As you know then quite often issues are not universal and require troubleshooting and investigating to find the cause before an attempted fix can be made.
  13. I think that's a pure modem so you wouldn't be able to do it on that one, if you had another you could. I suspect if you reset it should be better after that.
  14. You don't need to change DHCP or firewall or anything like that, everything will be good to go as you've done the DMZ
  15. You don't need to uncheck all the options, just the log from the System Information would be good
  16. Fine as in you've tried different widths etc as that would make a big difference. How do you have your priorities set up, any internet rules, DMZ set, VPN etc?
  17. Can you provide the log when it happens please? Also could you take a picture of the specific error?
  18. Generally it's not necessary - if you can't ping the server it's of no use and talking to your ISP to get better routing to a game server is very unlikely to be successful. Also showing IP addresses also allows for people to see individual peoples IP addresses which is a security issue. That would be the server load to the Proton VPN servers which they control, we have no way of knowing what the server load is on game servers we don't control because we don't know the capacity, don't know how many people are connected to that server etc. It would be really cool if it was possible.
  19. Do you leave your PC in an instant on/standby state at all? That's fine the way you've added it. Resync the cloud on the Device Manager and Geo-Filter and see if Network Activity then picks it up please.
  20. Glad to hear you got it sorted, I will pass it onto the team so they can re-test and re-classify!
  21. If it's not shown in the change log it won't be included - as you can tell from the topic the focus was to resolve the slowing speeds issue and still focusing on the disconnects, they'll come to this not to worry.
  22. Set the port forward 3074 for you and then 3075 for the other device and see if that resolves it. Are both devices added to the Geo-Filter?
  23. Presumably you've split the bands then so you can connect to 5GHz specifically? Try this: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity of the router ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  24. Does it actually have a cascade mode? If not put the R3 in its DMZ or bridge the Asus to the R3 then that will prevent a double NAT, nothing else should need to be changed
  25. Okay thanks, I have passed it on to be added to the testing list.
