  1. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  2. Results definitely won't be the same with the same settings due to having another router connected but you will be able to achieve the same results you'd just need to fine tune the settings. I'd be interested to see your results from all your tests
  3. What does better results actually mean though, in what sense?
  4. Sorry to hear that! We don't give out any ETAs but hopefully not much longer for one
  5. Added - let us know if you get the same issue on that firmware
  6. Good to hear, thanks for the update!
  7. Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely - including the game client from the System Tray - important! Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give your PC the PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client and try again
  8. Better in what sense though? PPPoE is just the way you connect to your internet
  9. No specific version, it's something we've mentioned quite a few times before and have always recommended having the upstream ISP modem/router handle PPPoE for this reason
  10. Please upgrade to the Early Access version and see if it still occurs - once it's fully upgraded factory reset then monitor it
  11. Glad to hear you got it sorted, we have mentioned before there can be speed reductions with PPPoE so generally best to avoid it if you experience that
  12. As above I wouldn't rely on that, try this instead https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/test-your-ping/
  13. It is a great idea, I think at the moment though with the server provider we use it's not always 100% reliable as is so we'd need to see what we can do there first but I will pass it on!
  14. It's not a feature that works 100% of the time or for all games so it's possible there is an issue with the expert part which is generally used less than simple as the goal is to keep the ping as low as possible not artificially inflate it too high. I'll bring it up to the team.
  15. Depending on how it calculates the ping i.e. direct vs trace it may have a harder time determining and so may fallback to simple
  16. Maybe the above but also that's the target, it may not always be able to hit that depending on your ping at the time
  17. Is that for all devices that aren't gaming as well? How are you determining it's losing internet?
  18. I know but copy the MAC from the ISP modem/router you were previously using. Find the MAC address on the router itself/in its settings then go to R3 > WAN > Advanced and paste into the MAC address cloning section
  19. No worries at all, do keep us updated and any questions/issues just ask!
  20. Added https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ Just to be clear, you're losing the internet when that happens or it's just kicking you from the party/game?
  21. I take it from your recent post that you were able to resolve this issue?
  22. I think for the R2 with PPPoE it's been an issue for awhile where speeds are reduced. It may be better on the DumaOS 4 firmware but otherwise the advice is to have the ISP modem/router handle it instead
  23. While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.
  24. Are you using PPPoE/VLAN? Have you only recently swapped out the ISP router - is that when it started?
