    EE 5G Router

Hi All, Anyone got any experience with EE 5G routers and Netduma? (i'm still running trusty old Duma R1) My broadband is extremely slow and cannot get fibre as the council won't allow the roads to be ripped up, joys of living in rural area. Was thinking of getting the EE 5G router but would like to know others experience if possible. Thank you.
  2. I've just got home, plugged R1 back in, issue is still ongoing...
  3. @Netduma Fraser Any Ideas on this one mate? Really strange it is.
  4. Morning All, Weird one, last night my wireless devices all dropped off from Wifi and were showing 'connected, no internet'. Anything hardwired was running fine. I rebooted the duma both from the admin panel, which I could get to on a wireless device, and also by pulling the plug, also rebooted main BT Router, let that set itself back up, then reconnected R1. Same issue. I'm currently at work but before I left this morning I unplugged the R1 and will leave it until I get home to see what happens. I'm running 1.03.6i and have had or am having no other issues. TIA
  5. @Netduma Fraser How stable is 3.0 on the R1? I'm still running 1.03.6i
  6. I'm still using mine, not ran into any problems so far and i'm an early adopter. Haven't even put the new DumaOS on it yet
  7. Ah, was finally contemplating upgrading from 1.03.6i on the original R1 at some point in the near future. Guess i'll wait for DumaOS 3.0 now instead!
  8. Hey everyone, not been on this for a good while. What's the current state of DumaOS on the R1? I'm still running 1.03.6i, haven't been too bothered about upgrading yet.
  9. I'd assume you need to mess with the congestion control to try and get it spot on. Mine's always on 70/70 but I don't stream so maybe someone else who does can help you better.
  10. I don't play Overwatch but if it's running on dedi's which I assume a game that popular would be, regardless of whether you set the geo filter to only connect to your local one, you have no control over who else connects to that particular one so you'll probably end up with "autistic sounding 4 year olds" again and again.
  11. Waiting for the "Whens DUMA OS??????" comments... Happy New Year All.

  13. That host will just be the dedicated server I imagine, can't really do much in regards to the location other players who are connecting to that server.
