For a 3 year cycle 3arc is still a shit developer. Bad as they always are. I get good games, horrid games. Horrid guns and bad hit detection, it's same old bullshit from a 2nd rate developer. Seriously quickscoping is still a massive problem. The specialist shit makes game worse. Wall running is clunky and nowhere near as good as titanlfall. This is 3rd rate shit. This avoids all the tryhards and it's more of the social aspect (hanging out, virtually) than the game itself. Of course, then there is Zombies and this year the CO-OP campaign. Buckeye Purple Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 The heart of this game is based on good connections and they have failed miserably, i couldn't give a toss about all the junk they have crammed in to the rafters. i wanted connections to be a non issue, why aren't they pushing the boat out and making this the top priority and in mean from inception , the drawing board, before any other thing has been discussed. same shit different year. i can't see this game playing any better than previous black ops it looks like the same clumsy engineers working the online code. It's just night and day between a solid well thought out game and spaghetti thrown against the wall. AsNCo Posted August 22, 2015 Share Posted August 22, 2015 The game crashed twice on me and on the first one, it made my PS4 freeze.The second time, it crashed out of randomness while in mid game and again I had to send a report to Sony.But it was not as bad as the 1st one where even the Power button on the PS4 was unresponsive. So I had to just turn off the main power source. My poor PS4. I did finally see how a party of people managed to gain Host. But when I play with lesser people, I get into Dedicated Servers again but I find that they have been adding/modifying even more as my game on several of these new servers were just superb vs the old servers with the same ID from even the old games. Not really digging the game either. To me it feels like a new developer tried to make a CoD clone with cod elements but didn't succeed. Heading out to cancel my preorder. However, I don't know if this is because of the game itself, the fact their upgrading dedis as we go, etc. I'd be a fool to think it would change in the final release, but Treyarch actually has a reputation (good or bad) if something major needs fixing they fit it... eventually. I pre-ordered on the PS4, so I could cancel it, but I'm going to wait for a little while and see what the general consensus is because if a lot of people start to cancel pre-orders based on connection complaints then I will, too. Reason being is fewer players = worse connections as far as P2P and also PS4 is going to have all the streaming tryhard kids who want to become e-famous, one way or another. Hmmm. Decisions... So without netduma here are the highlights (or more like lowlights) video of some black ops 3 beta action. You'll see sometimes the guns seem to "auto aim" (snap) on the enemy (whether or not me as killer or victim), you'll see lag, the awful futuristic stuff (wall running, jet back jumping/thrust running), some of the maps, some set up bits, some kill streaks and lots of me dying. Idealy the next step is that it would automatically detect the game Im playing then adjust the settings itself.
