Netduma router settings are fully optimized, BUT.......

Recommended Posts

Tests on DSLReports and Netduma give me excellent grades. Pinging 08-15ms, keep my Geo search to 300-350 miles, on reccomendation from Fraser, ping assist is set to 0. I'm still getting bitch slapped. Rubber bullets from me, one shot kills on me...WTF is going on??? 1 out of 10 games are just tolerable.....

If you are playing IW that is the problem, There are a lot of people experiencing the same issues including myself.

Some people are not having the problem but there are many people complaining about it and not just on this forum.

I find the game plays better if i do this.

;I am uk based)

Strict mode on

Ping assist 40

400-500km

You will find that if ping assist is set to 0 it will give you player with a similar ping to you which in theory should be best but not for IW

What your looking to do is get player in the lobby with slightly high ping!

That way the game play much more even.

Try setting ping assist to 10-20 ms higher than your base ping

Good luck!

You are correct my friend. I live in the NE USA, within 100 mile radius is 6-8 million people. NYC, Philadelhia, DC, Baltimore and a lot of 100-200K  smaller cities.. Not an issue per say..I just recieved router 3 weeks ago, sometimes, very little, I stand on my own. You know, i haven't tried BLOPS3 or AW or any of my BF's. I'll keep you posted on results playing other titles. The Netduma guide "How to Fix Lag in Infinite Warfare" was far from a fix...but still good general info.

I can confirm that pretty much everyone I've seen has negative things to say about Infinite Warfare matchmaking. Unfortunately there's only so much anyone can do unless they work for Activision. The control that you have with the Netduma can at least give you a better experience, but it's a far from perfect online game.

I'm glad you enjoyed our blog; I hope it helped.

Have you run a ping plotter test to check your line /connections etc? If not please try that for an hour or so.

Even better if you could record a couple of minutes game play and link to it that would be helpful.

To rule out your ISP use Ping Plotter

Type into target twitter.com and let it run without using your internet.

File / save image or share to upload the results to us.

Click on more reply options to find the browse button to upload to the site.

That's your base ping by the looks of it but what is your ping to the game shown on the Geo-filter? I didn't see anything wrong with the video though i don't play it much

--- 8.8.8.8 ping statistics ---

20 packets transmitted, 20 packets received, 0% packet loss

round-trip min/avg/max = 11.829/12.982/16.208 ms--- 8.8.8.8 ping statistics ---

This was done wid game.  assist was set at 30.... Still had rubber bullets

I think what Fraser means is, when you are in game look at the ping graph on the user interface and tell us what it is. It will be below the map of the world. Click on the big circle and see what the ping is.

here's a gameplay action ping assist set to 35, distance 500KM

This is what I wanted thank you. It looks like you're getting the lowest ping possible given your base ping so the Duma is doing it's job. I would suggest blocking out the servers you're currently getting and forcing another to see if it plays better for you.

Just put your geo filter circle over the server(s) you want to force and set ping assist to zero.

When I want to force a specific server, I turn off the console, set the geo filter, reboot the Netduma (from miscellaneous settings), then boot the console.

Be careful not to set it too small thought or you might struggle to get lobbies because of the way IW picks a host before the dedi.

Nothing seemed wrong or off in that video though, looked perfectly normal to me.

I get this to the UK server and still get b*tch slapped by lag. Delayed or nonexistent hit reg, wonky aim assist, and zero time to react to people clearly ahead of me when I'm playing with 20 sensitivity and a PC monitor lmao. I still haven't seen more than two solid games in a row since mid-February in the two days before patch 1.09 came out.

I apologize for the shoddy editing. Truth be told, that was the FIRST video I ever tried to edit...and it shows. Anyway, in your opinion, things seemed normal. I wish I had the entire video. I definitely was firing rubber bullets, and was killed with 1-2 from my opponent. The old, way to familiar, feeling of boiling up with anger and helpless frustration as you get shredded...... knowing, most of those kills should have been yours. I appreciate all the help that's been extended to assist me. Thanks to all!
