  1. If your on console just DMZ the PS5 there shouldn’t be much else except cc the which is internal and geofilter which you can use based on your area.
  2. @dasertYou can just classify it as a games console and that should work if I recollect disabling QOS means you won't have the ability to use traffic priority so it needs to be enabled.
  3. @jacksonpujolsWell that probably normal if you were on a pretty old build you should just factory reset just in case if there any other bugs from the web interference.
  4. There no backup feature so unfortunately you have to redo the setup. What firmware version are you using? That not normal if you power it off and lose all settings.
  5. @dasertYou might not be able to get A+ do to the DPI not detecting the site as it hasn't been updated (XR1000) so it doesn't get priority. The best tip to get your network under control is using pingplotter or alternatively use the game stats and run speed test and keep decreasing your cc it till you see no ping spikes/loss of packets or use command prompt.
  6. Pay attention to the geofilter when booting the game and you should see the server locations and you can set your radius based on that….
  7. @SpazzIs there a particular reason why your not just running it on AP mode?
  8. @slackchainDid you try factory resetting from web interface?
  9. @shahidwali13Do you not understand??? I just told you to use geofilter to get low ping servers and focus on the area that has low ping. You can use ping assist to get consistent low ping servers but it may not work on that game couldn't say as I don't play sport games.
  10. Well it should be obvious then that you should just apply the geo on the area that your getting lower ping you can’t force to change the routing that something the router can’t do however you can try using a vpn and see if your able to change the routing like that as it sometimes does work though it not guaranteed just something you need to test for yourself.
  11. @Netduma Fraser@Netduma Alex Application name: PS REMOTE PLAY Device type used for capture: MAC OS + ANDROID Any other comments: PS REMOTE PLAY NOT DETECTED Added Captures below https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/gb/ PS REMOTE PLAY ANDROID #1.pcapng PS REMOTE PLAY ANDROID #2.pcapng PS REMOTE PLAY MAC #1.pcapng REMOTE PLAY MAC #2.pcapng
  12. It more or less a workaround didn't work for me but might for others still it a bug and one that shouldn't be there to begin with as it a basic function. I decided in the mean time to go back to my R2 till the next patch just as I have many users on the household that game and use that feature etc.
  13. @Simon ThomasTo get accurate results connect straight to the modem/fiber box without the router. The hops that matter are 1-2 and the last hop however in some cases it normal to see packet loss on first hop as it just blocking ICMP packets. Which is why you typically use the last hop as the overall diagnosis. So if you have loss in the last hop check your equipment and if you don’t see any damage contact your ISP to resolve the issue.
  14. @ADhillonIf there the same they shouldn't be as that can be what conflicting the devices from having a connection. To add what firmware version are you running?
  15. In theory it could be congestion at peak times so on that end all you can do is mitigate your buffering by using qos to a lower state...you can also check whether it your line having certain issues at peak times as that can be the cause for why your seeing drastic differences to do so you'll need to run ping plotter and monitor the network for 24 hours or the time you know it unstable to use that as proof against your provider.
  16. Buddy it a router not a games console and yes it does the essentials for networking but I’d look for an R2 or XR500 for latest firmwares as the XR1000 is outdated.
  17. Before you buy something next time you need to understand how it works a cat 8 is pretty much pointless as you'll never even exceed those speeds only enterprise users need it and no it will not cause any delay as it just pass-through internet cable with the the biggest throughput.
  18. Not at the moment you'll need to change speeds manually to do so...don't ask me who thought it was bright idea to not allow you to go below 50% but disregard logic 😂
  19. To be fair everyone's networks are different therefore the way that dumaos handles them varies but when it fully operational it great however I would have to disagree with part of your statement were 40 dollar routers are not better to an extent as they have certain features that are common such as: USB functionality Backup/Restore Bricked Utility Software AP Mode Just my opinion may not like it but I try to be open-minded
  20. If you want to change locations then you need to use another config file that has a different location.
  21. @LiarnI am not a dev so who knows probably whenever next update comes as others have found this issue as well.
  22. @LiarnUPNP is broken at the moment so if your on console the easiest method is just putting it on dmz but if you don't want to then manual port foward which is time consuming so your choice till it gets resolved.
  23. When logging to the interference use incognito mode on the browser as it doesn't save cache and it might just be showing the prompt from prior login. What I would do is do a factory reset but from the interference and then try updating it as quickly as possible by skipping the wizard setup.
  24. @ZliYes that would be it...the reason why you get fragmentation when you ping your max mtu is because it exceeds the limit of what it able to fragment. As for the bridge it depends how the device handles it but typically bridge is better as it just using the modem mode only.
  25. @Netduma FraserI'd like to know why isn't this done from the device itself rather than pinging the server? It just seems like that would be the best way as it doesn't have to rely on being able to ping the server and just rely on the device which should work 100% percent of the time.
