@mirkoneWell that going to happen if your using a browser that deletes cache such as if you were using it on incognito mode.
-
@mirkoneDid you try copy and paste? Works fine Screen Recording 2024-04-09 at 3.51.59 PM.mov
-
@mirkoneThat because your only using one dns you have to use a secondary as well in order for it work. To add for it be the dns on prioritized on the network disable use upstream dns.

@ZliYou’re not understanding what MTU does, so what it does is fragment the packets on your connection at different intervals. Even if you knew the servers’ packets, it still wouldn’t matter much because the higher your MTU is, the better the fragmentation as packets are sent quicker/less overload on the connection as it would have to send packets in smaller scales, etc. Some modems are just not capable of running at low MTUs as they overload, though those are the potato ones with CPU issues from their own manufacturers, so something to note.
-
@ZliYou don't need to follow the PS5 MTU guide that YouTubers propagate; the reason it was a problem in the first place was because Sony had some packet fragmentation issues back in 2013 or so, and that caused issues in which changing your MTU size would fix the problem. So if you’re not seeing any UI loading bugs, then there’s no need to change the MTU; the only time I would change it on the PS5 is if I am using Wi-Fi, as they do seem to have MTU issues on older models; I couldn't say for the newer ones as there are chipset changes, but if you’re not experiencing issues, then there’s no need to do anything. Your max MTU is typically the most optimal, though certain devices may have issues with certain MTUs, which is why you may need to tweak the MTU, as this isn't just one platform occurrence that I've seen before; it’s just hard to diagnose and extremely rare to see it happen.

@Netduma FraserAre there any changes to HVPN on the R3 compared to the R2?
-
@Tom123Also make sure your connected through Ethernet read buffer bloat instructions another thing to add it may also just be server related issue so it not 100% accurate to get something near 100% accuracy you need to use something like ping plotter to diagnose network live plus it gives you more in depth data about your connection and if it an ISP issue your able to use it to make a report on them.

Have you tried going lower than 50% on the upload and check if it still gets saturated? Note you have to apply always and disable speed test bypass to get accurate results.
-
So what are your speeds and what do you have the qos upload set at?

@Nathan47293The footage can't be seen pal need to change the format but I'd suggest updating to the latest version manually and performing a factory reset after you've updated it https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53938-new-r3-firmware-4041/

Looking at some of your post did you ever try nmrpflash the router?
-
@LucretiaFor the Factory reset just locate the Reset button on the back of your router. With the router powered on, use the pointed end of a paperclip or similar object to press and hold the Reset button for 30 seconds. Wait for the router to fully reset and power back on. If still persist then try doing a reboot and or using a browser in incognito mode as it may just be a cache bug.

@Netduma FraserIs there a specific section were you can provide ID's for Steady Ping for them to get compatibility quicker? As Apex Legends doesn't seem to work with it at all which is sorta disappointing as it one of the top 3 battle royales. https://gamesight.io/leaderboards/battle-royale-games
-
@swippurIt more or less so though reality is it fails majority of the time so it needs to be worked upon.

@Proud R3 OwnerTrue but are you going to be using more than 4 gaming devices at a time? 😂 Technically what they could do is make it were it applied to all gaming consoles and if your on PC you would need to add it manually as PC's can be categorized for different uses not just gaming so it a bit harder to be applicable but I get your point of view but as you can see that would clearly take time to develop if they were to develop a whole dashboard. It would be ideal to have it but it be time consuming to make though I could be wrong...
-
@Proud R3 OwnerI mean they could but it not like it would give you any benefit outside of gaming not only that it would be a waste of resources in my opinion.
-
@Netduma FraserYeah I thought so as I was confused I was about to point out the fact that it was being applied to all devices.
-
@Netduma FraserHey Fraser quick question is Steady Ping supposed to be applying to all the devices on the network or is it specific to detected gaming devices or lastly the devices that you apply to the geofilter?

Issues with Duma OS geo filter
DARKNESS replied to Mercenary's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
@MercsRampageWell then look at the map(Geofilter) when your booting up the game and you should see the server locations and set your radius to the closest one which should be NY if that your lowest as typically the closest is the lowest ping though not always as routing is a thing. -
Well did you Set Congestion Control Mode to Always and disable Speed Test Bypass?
-
@KatatoconusIf it a house and it big then your going to need an access point that nothing to do with the router causing lag that the range of how far the signal goes from the wifi typically only premium routers give you a lot of range but even then there not enough which is why we have AP/access point-meshes exist etc. The R3 from my experience can cover a small apartment more than that and you'll be losing signal like most routers.

Five – 1 WAN, 4 LAN Gigabit (10/100/1000Mbps) MAX is 1G if you want higher go with asus or tp link though if you don't care much as 1G is more than the user needs then you can get the R3 though do be aware it has bugs though they should be eventually fixed.
