  3. Yeah actually I did do a cloud update on Thursday. My current plan is to try and do at least one cloud update every week. Thanks for the post DMC... I haven't read the whole thing yet but i'll do it in a bit! I'll finish the rest of my forum posts first.
  4. We haven't announced a release date yet. We do have a target internally so we're not slacking off. We're making good progress on DumaOS 3.0. But we don't want to promise a release date and then have to delay it.

  6. I'm making progress on the Modern Warfare update. I think i've figured out what's causing the problems. Essentially, it's mislocated servers.
  7. So I have fiddled around on an XR500 in the office, and you're right. PureVPN only lists countries, cities never appear. Could you just confirm for me that no other countries have cities listed? You don't have to click them all, just a few will do. Also could you switch to hidemyass and see if cities appear then? Because they do for me. I think this is a problem specific to purevpn. I've made a bug report.

  9. I don't believe that the XR700 is currently fully compatible with HTTPS, and that certificate error is why.

  11. Ever connected to a server that the Geo-Filter says is thousands of miles away, but the ping is only 15ms? Well, that server is probably mislocated! We do frequent updates to the Geo-Filter cloud which contain the latest information about server locations, but sometimes a few servers might be missed. If you find a server which seems suspiciously out of place, you can submit the information into the form below.   12. Really strange. Have you tried enabling the guest network on the XR300 and connecting from there? I have a theory that the permissions for the guest network are kind of screwy.
  13. I'm glad you got a setting that works well for you. Now you could set the anti-bufferbloat to only activate when high priority traffic is detected. Make sure that the High Priority Traffic light turns on when the PS4 is being played, and if it doesn't, you can manually add the device to the Traffic Prioritization menu using the Games Console preset.
  14. If you allocate more bandwidth to the PS4, it will take priority over other devices when the bandwidth is in high demand, so I imagine that's what's happened here!
  15. What he said! It's about finding the highest slider position that results in a stable ping. Once you've done that, you can set it so that it only activates when it detects that you're gaming.

  19. The one with the ring around it is whitelisted, which means that it's permanently unblocked. If you're unable to connect to it for a game, it's either because it's full, or because the server is just for authentication purposes and doesn't actually host games. The only way to lock a server into place is to allow it and give it a memorable name. If you very specifically want that server, you could try putting the radius directly on top of it, although that has varied levels of success depending on which game you're playing. Any time that you change Geo-Filter settings, you should close the game and open it again. You don't need to restart the Xbox, you just need to open the menu, press Start and choose Quit, then start the game up again.
  20. The server with the white circle around it has been whitelisted by us because it's an authentication server. If this server is blocked, the game won't be able to connect at all. Servers with dotted lines around them are servers that have been allowed by Ping Assist. These servers are outside of your radius and are only allowed because their ping is lower than your Ping Assist value. A good solution for you might be to put the radius in the middle of the ocean and just rely on Ping Assist. This way, servers will be allowed from anywhere as long as they're low ping. This also helps if there are mislocated servers on the map.
  21. It sounds like the one server you're seeing might be an authentication server. Does it have a white ring around it? What game are you trying to play? If you put the Geo-Filter into spectating mode, do any more servers appear?
  22. Sorry we couldn't reply over the weekend. It looks like this thread kind of started and finished in our absence. To me, it sounds like the XR300 you bought had a hardware fault. I can see no other reason why the product would not be able to produce the full expected speeds, especially given that other routers in the same setup have been able to produce those speeds. I'd suggest returning the router for a refund.

  24. Welcome to the forums! Yes i'll get it done. And yes, once the bug is patched you should upgrade to the most recent "original firmware" and after that, you could upgrade to DumaOS if you wanted.
