Thewhrath reacted to bbursley in 2ms lobby 200+ kills
lowest ping server I get is 13ms, and it still feels like a 3ms player can kill me in what seems like an instant. I have just come to the conclusion that hit detection and netcode suck this year

Thewhrath reacted to TODDzillaInLA in The Season 4 Reloaded Update! (#mw3 & #warzone) Loves the NETDuma R3
The FR 5.56 AR destroyed this lobby!!! 1 and 2 burst kill in MP. I am currently using this weapon to complete the weapon master challenge (1000 kills with each weapon). Full unedited clip with 3ping is on my discord and the full stream is on my twitch.

Thewhrath reacted to Krush in R2 FIRMWARE: 3.3.615 - BROKE THE INTERNET! 2 & 3 ping lobbies…
Pay attention!
Nothing new, it's just the game (MW2) finally taking into account the real (direct) round trip ping from the game server to your location without bypassing... I have a ping of 7ms minimum on the game (server in Paris) because all the FR ISPs go through Paris (central core in France), living in Paris I would have a ping close to 1ms... is just pixie dust!

Thewhrath reacted to TODDzillaInLA in MW 3 what's working for you?
ISP router is blocking all the permissions the duma router is trying to do. you're getting the better gaming experience because of the little bit of slowdown going through the two devices.Â

Thewhrath reacted to TODDzillaInLA in MW 3 what's working for you?
when i play multiplayer yes, when i play warzone sliders and bandwidth are maxed and because i have 2gig internet its basically have the sliders at 50%
the duma router has never given me accurate speed test with the r1 and or the r2 hopefully this is not a issue and they fix this with the r3
here is some gameplay over the weekend in game 2 to 3 ping. someone watching the stream clipped it

Thewhrath reacted to TODDzillaInLA in SmartQoS Version 4 like having AimBot!
the average person has no clue but there is so much involved when it comes to cheating for COD, 1 - it gets extremely expensive the average cheating is spending a minimum of 120 US to keep playing all month and burning through accounts. 2 - Their PC eventually becomes hardware band so they can never play legit again on that PC. 3 - lets say you cheated on cod but you want to play fortnite. Fortnites anti cheat will detect cheats for other games and flag you.

Thewhrath reacted to TrayDay in Warzone 2 and share excess download and upload
One thing I find interesting about this, the ISP. Spectrum always have things going on with their HUBs or MODEM and or Routers. If you're using spectrum OWN Modem or Router, this could also be something with that. As @Zippy and I noticed when it comes to Spectrum equipment. At the end of the day, what works for others may or may not work for others due to the way ISP handle the network and infrastructure is setup in your area. Now, what also might be a factor is the tech of the xr500. It does have pretty beefy hardware, along with the xr1000. One user theillestbeast consistently put out videos on the xr500 and xr1000 for a long while

Thewhrath reacted to Infoseye in FIRMWARE: 3.3.308 Smart QoS (Hit Detection)
And another test on a dedicated server similar issue receive rate was much higher. I tried other game modes multiplayer/Warzone same results

Anyone else experiencing this on this firmware version?

Thewhrath reacted to Zennon in Ping Plotter Quick Guide
Fraser has asked me to post a guide for PingPlotter, I will keep it simple like myself, here goes..
Â
Download PingPlotter Here
Â
Type a close IP to your region I usually use twitter.com or .co.uk but as i write this both were connecting to the US as I am in the UK I have set the ping plot to bbc.co.uk.
Â
Typing bbc.co.uk into the target address bar leaving the interval at 2.5 then pressing enter on your keyboard or the go button.
Â
A congested line looks like this.
You can see the ping in real time, the ping numbers are listed to the left of the plot.
I achieved this by setting my congestion control sliders to 100% each so that the duma was not helping with local congestion thus saturating the line.
If you have a ISP issue from say a Intel PUMA 6 based CPU in a modem or ISP congestion an BT line fault (US/World infrastructure alternative) or even a faulty Ethernet cable, RJ11 or faulty Master socket face plate your line may look like this even when you set your sliders lower.
Â
This is a line idle with minimal traffic being used that does not use a PUMA 6 based chipset or have any network issues.
Â
This is a line downloading a full width saturating the line but using the duma congestion control at 70% each way
Â
If you would like to post a bad result to the forum or save a plot to prove to your ISP there is an issue after ruling out your own network then press File and click on save image and this will give you an image of the GUI at that moment for you.
