Thanks for the report, I've passed it onto the team who have now removed that cloud update which will hopefully resolve it, please reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes and then resync the cloud and let us know if that has resolved it. I've also given you Early Access to the DumaOS 4 beta, if it continues please see if this version stops it happening.

NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
@mr_kfed thanks for the kind words about me! I totally appreciate it's a frustrating issue, I wish I could say it was an issue on our side that we could have fixed but I can't unfortunately. If it's continuing after raising the bottom of the range then I would suggest giving every single device connected to the router a static/reserved IP in DHCP settings. Once you've done that then disable the DHCP server, reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes then confirm you still have access to the interface and internet. Then in theory, the DHCP issue should not longer pose a problem as it's disabled and devices will continue to function with their permanent IP address. -
Getting An R3 this week, will my current setup work with it?
Netduma Fraser replied to Redflame's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Yes that is correct as far as I am aware. Everything should still work fine if you choose to go the PPPoE route. If not let us know and we'll look into it, then in the meantime you could switch to the other setup (if you're not returning the hub) - maybe best if you are planning to return that to have a grace period just to check everything works as you expect with the R3 handling PPPoE. -
Need help with Nat Type and PPPOE
Netduma Fraser replied to Kareem KEZ's topic in Netduma R3 Support
If you actually pay them for a static IP then I'm surprised you're still not getting an Open NAT. Are you in a country that may have more stringent restrictions on your network? If so then yes probably your only hope is a VPN, however, usually using a VPN won't allow you to get an Open NAT either but you may be able to get moderate which could be an improvement. Overall NAT really matters when it comes to connecting to people, as most games are server based now it shouldn't be too much of an issue. If you're playing with others it could pose a problem if they don't have an Open NAT either. PPPoE we're aware of that issue so we're working on it. Work around would be to have a different router handle PPPoE for the moment. -

Do you get an Open NAT with your console connected directly to your modem? -
It's fine, if you were actually seeing packet loss it would appear as red bars on the bottom graph so you can ignore that. CPU hitting 100 isn't unusual unless it stays at 100 constantly

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Oh okay, then your Geo-Filter settings are probably blocking the other servers -
NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
As long as you're getting expected speeds that way then the router won't be limiting you, you can ignore the inbuilt speed test and enter your speeds manually. Oh I see, on HybridVPN as you need to use a configuration file so that it can be compatible with multiple VPNs we couldn't provide an option to select the server. You'll need to download the new config for the other server you want to connect to then enter it into the router. -

Netduma Fraser replied to Redflame's topic in Netduma R3 Support
No worries! You can have the R3 connected to the ONT and handling PPPoE but speeds will be reduced this way, perhaps by 25-50%. Then yes if you wanted to do away with the hub and are happy with the speed reduction then based on the usage you've mentioned everyone would have more than enough. -
Have you updated recently? If so have you factory reset? If not I would highly suggest it, it's a big jump in firmware. I think you'd have to factory reset anyway in this scenario.

Thanks for clarifying, we're aware Speed Test/Ping Optimizer isn't 100% reliable at the moment so enter your speeds manually and adjust Congestion Control manually to achieve the same effects in the meantime

Netduma Fraser replied to Redflame's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The PPPoE details may be on the BT Hub network settings, if so you can then copy paste into the R3 if needed or you could contact them directly. Alternatively you can just connect the R3 to the BT Hub and have the hub continue handling PPPoE which is what I would normally suggest. We don't have specific support for mesh but from what I've seen it does work. If you have the BT Hub handle PPPoE then speeds shouldn't be reduced much. Gaming doesn't require much bandwidth though, usually less than 1Mbps. You can setup over WiFi. -
NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Disable Geo-Latency and keep Ping Assist at 0, that should keep servers within your radius only. Don't change Geo-Filter settings while on the game and make sure it is enabled before you launch the game. What do you get on speedtest.net via a wired PC? When using a VPN you will get a higher ping, especially if you are choosing a far away router. I don't know what VPN menu to choose server means exactly -
It doesn't really make any sense, have you done a factory reset and seen whether it still occurs after that? If it does, what settings are you changing immediately after a reset?

R1 user to R2 user- Never changed up routers
Netduma Fraser replied to NeoVIrus's topic in Netduma R2 Support
I've given you Early Access, upgrade to that and see if the issue still occurs please https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ -
This applies to the Geo-Filter specifically, see if that gets it working, if so then check TP: Do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client

Netduma Fraser replied to Winterfresh's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Great to hear that, thanks for the update! -
If you're trying to search for a game much further away then yes the search times will be longer, especially requiring a server with multiple slots - it won't want to add lots of people with high pings

R1 user to R2 user- Never changed up routers
Netduma Fraser replied to NeoVIrus's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Doesn't necessarily matter about what has changed but what have you had set from the start. What kind of internet usage is there? Is there any pattern you can discern apart from every hour? What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R2? What firmware version are you on? -

Netduma Fraser replied to NeoVIrus's topic in Netduma R2 Support
You can always email or contact us on social media at any time. It looks like it's running out of memory which is very unusual, can you let me know exactly what settings you have changed/adjusted on the router please? -
