XR 1000v2 slow speeds
Netduma Fraser replied to ifell's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Make sure the ISP modem is handling PPPoE and the XR isn't and then you should get better speeds through the XR and QoS will apply better also -
Thanks for clarifying. For WiFi please try this: Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ eFootball uses relay servers most of the time which means we can't always block the servers it then connects you to. It's something we're having a look at but probably not an easy fix. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST?

Issue with Geofencing on Netduma R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Juan Sosa's topic in Call of Duty Support
It will definitely work with the changes I mentioned above, it doesn't matter the version, they will all use the same version of the cloud which is the cause of the issue -
If you connect your device directly to the connection from the wall and bypass the router do you get the same issue?

PingPlotter showing major lag spikes
Netduma Fraser replied to Cajun72's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Good point above, it really would be ideal to check from the modem itself as well. The connection is quite stable generally so it could be QoS doing its job but I couldn't say for certain, they're likely seeing a fairly stable connection as well, I doubt they'd be too concerned with a few spikes over a ~10 minute period as really other than gaming it wouldn't be very noticeable for the average user -

Are you using PPPoE or VLAN by any chance? -
Okay that's fine, look up the ports for the game and make port forwarding rules for those ports, set a reserved IP for the PC in DHCP then restart the PC and try again please

Please provide a screenshot of the full Geo-Filter page showing what you're seeing when playing after doing the above -
PingPlotter showing major lag spikes
Netduma Fraser replied to Cajun72's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hard to say if it's the modem then in that case - saturate the network with downloads and use Congestion Control to find the best percentages that stabilizes the plot and then monitor that and see if there are spikes -
That's totally fine, it's great that we can faciliate learning about networking to the point you're looking at it more in depth, however when it comes to promoting the use of other routers/software it's just not something we can have on the forum. You're welcome to all converse via PM and of course take it somewhere else like a Discord server

Glad to hear it and thanks for the report, we can look into that

Could you try in an incognito window please and see if that works
-
No it won't cause any negative effects It'll block servers you denied once the connection to that server has been severed so wait a few minutes in the lobby after the game then re-search otherwise you run the risk of connecting to it again. Also there are many servers clustered in a singular location, you'll be denying a single server in that cluster, not the location. What do you see when trying to access?

Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.
