I have a question about Traffic priority
Netduma Fraser replied to Arthurkulp's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
As above it's a good service for games that aren't listed but overall yes it's to be used for Games Consoles so you would select that for the PS5. The page is out of date at the moment as the previous person who was in charge of updating it has left and it's not been assigned to someone yet. I'll update it as best I can. -
Problems since release: WiFi - IPTV - QoS
Netduma Fraser replied to Pwnaye's topic in Netduma R2 Support
If you disable Adblocker does IPTV load correctly? What's the issue you're having with bandwidth allocation exactly? For WiFi try this to see if it is more stable: Disable Mirror Mode, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ -
Updates on eFootball 2024
Netduma Fraser replied to euphidra's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Alex is really busy at the moment but it will be done, it's something I am reminding him of frequently. eFootball specifically hasn't been added but it was built using the Unreal Engine which is an option you can select or you can select the device specifically. -

Disney+ not working on PC that is wired to the Netduma R2
Netduma Fraser replied to SheaH's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Could you please disable Adblocker and see whether it can then load? -
when r2 is plugged in lower speeds
Netduma Fraser replied to jbradshaw's topic in Netduma R2 Support
It's entirely up to you and what your network usage is like, if you want it to always apply as people are often streaming or downloading for example then always would be a good choice. If you only want it to apply when you're gaming then use auto enable. -
Bad Hit Reg. Latency 1 second behind the enemy movements.
Netduma Fraser replied to Oguzhan's topic in Call of Duty Support
You're essentially prioritizing it 3 times, delete two of them so just one is being used and see if it's any better please -

Does qos bandwith work for ever game
Netduma Fraser replied to Arthurkulp's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you're using Auto-Enable then you have to be prioritizing at the time for it to apply. You haven't enabled any prioritizations so that may be why. I don't think we've specifically tested the game with the Geo-Filter but it could work, let us know either way and we can look into it. -
NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
TFTP bypasses the boot process which is where the issue may be so it has a higher chance of resolving the issue than standard upgrading, the above example has a good rate of the firmware successfully applying. It's not specifically the beta, anytime this issue has happened in the past has been because an update was done but not any specific update. WiFi is a Netgear setting so it's not something we have the power to change and even then it's not something that could be fixed immediately. As the XR700 is no longer being produced I doubt NG will be making many new firmware versions. The TFTP option is the best chance for success in this scenario as it is more of a hardware issue I believe. -

when r2 is plugged in lower speeds
Netduma Fraser replied to jbradshaw's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Hello, welcome to the forum! Are you testing using WiFi or ethernet? Have you set the bandwidth speeds to what you expect? Have you adjusted Congestion Control at all? Could you provide a screenshot of your QoS page please? -
NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's not usually something we give out and I don't know what that command is unfortunately, it may be worth using TFTP to reinstall the firmware as there may be an issue in boot which that would bypass -
NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's not necessarily the beta, we've seen it with the public versions as well and only on the 700, try this: While connected via ethernet, disable WiFi radios entirely from the Advanced WiFi settings, reboot the router from the interface, wait 2 minutes, access, enable WiFi radios, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 2 minutes then see if they appear. -
Você precisará definir o Ping Assist como 0 se quiser forçar os servidores, pois é possível obter jogos fora dele que sejam superiores a esse valor. Tente isso e veja se funciona, por favor.

Profile Selector
Netduma Fraser replied to SurvivorOf's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Which profile selector specifically? I see you're on an older beta version, I gave you a link to the latest in the other topic, update to that and see if it works please. -

Não otimizamos a visualização móvel, então pode ser por isso que, se você ajustá-la em um PC, ela funciona corretamente? -
If you want to use QoS then I would suggest setting it to that figure, wouldn't usually suggest it but as the router can't handle any higher it will make QoS more responsive
