NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540

What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? Is Congestion Control set to Always? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? What do you mean it moves back to lower prioritization? Can you provide a video of what is happening?

Not working properly in what sense? How is it not allowing you to make changes exactly? What is your ping and where are you measuring it, Geo-Filter, Speedtest, in game etc? How have you setup Congestion Control (Ping Optimizer > Advanced)?

NEW XR700 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.363
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's still absolutely useable for getting the best connection possible but if you want the better software then yes you'd have to. Again not really up to us, something they would need to decide on. -

That's entirely up to NTGR but as it is End of Service it is very unlikely -
You leave it at default or if you're going to change it switch to one like cloudflare 1.1.1.1 for example

Upgrade to the Early Access firmware and see if you get better results then please
-
Okay no need for bridge/DMZ, you're using a pure modem so that's fine. Speed Test bypass should be enabled, then test again. How is SmartBOOST enabled exactly?
-
Okay does another wired device have the same issue then if the only difference between good & bad speeds is the adapter changes? I'd first suggest reverting your adapter settings to their defaults and check again. Just to clarify, is speed test bypass on or off? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? We don't provide that kind of support and shouldn't be necessary in this case

People have had similar issues with the cable we provided so that doesn't mean it couldn't be the cause
-
Its very hard to give a course of action when the logs are so vague, it says the link was down, that could be if it was unplugged for example which obviously didn't happen but could you replace the ethernet cable connecting the router to the fritz please and see if it happens again?
-
If you get the logs it may show why the router disconnected
-
All looks good as far as I can tell, did you lose connection on the ISP router as well that you know of? Could you get the logs from the ISP router from the same time as that may tell us more
-
Looks like it lost connection to the modem briefly but doesn't say why, is the router set with a static IP on the modem?

Netduma losing internet at arandom times
Netduma Fraser replied to gearsniper550's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Other than what I mentioned no not really, there is no reason it would disconnect regularly then suddenly stop unless the ISP modem was causing it and whatever the cause has now been resolved -
Bad BufferBloat/Bad Hitreg

Could you provide a video of what it is like if possible? -
Netduma losing internet at arandom times

Good to hear, fingers crossed its fine now -
That's not it allowing servers outside your radius, it's literally blocking servers outside your radius that the game is trying to connect you to. So it is working as expected. You'll have to keep searching and the game should be forced to then get a server within your radius. Some days it may take longer due to player count, server load etc.
