I'm not sure what public version it's based off (I assume the latest) but I would recommend caution if that is of concern to you and go with the official public release

It's a good idea to do a reset after an upgrade, especially if there is a big change, glad it's resolved for you!

What game are you trying to play? You don't need the static IP so remove that then do this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.

You'll need to obtain the OpenVPN configuration files from them and then add it to the config box in the Advanced Setup of the VPN, add your VPN provider credentials in the boxes provided and then it should work

More solid security wise in what sense? It's a beta firmware with just our changes, it has been through a closed beta so is relatively stable

We've been doing a lot to bring firmwares out as fast as possible, R2, XR500 & 700. Likely the 1000 will be next then the 450 I believe. Then they'll all be pretty similar to each other in terms of their offering.

Do you mean the old CoD games? Are you referring to SmartQoS? If so it's a new feature so we're using the R2 to work out all the kinks first. Other than that the 700 is now on par with the R2.
