Netduma Fraser replied to Westy147's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better. -

Can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing when you connected that far away outside the radius please?

connecting outside of my red zone again

What changed between it working and not working, anything you can think of? -
Just to clarify, the R3 is handling PPPoE now? If so that's likely why the speeds are a little lower, we'll boost that if we can but you should see higher speeds for the moment with DHCP. You should set what the router is actually receiving really so QoS can work optimally. We are aware Ping Optimizer/Speed Test isn't 100% reliable at the moment and it's something the team are working on. Those features can still work, it just may not be every time. Best to adjust Congestion Control manually for the moment from Ping Optimizer > Advanced.

That's great to hear, keep us posted! -
You've set it up perfectly!

That's really great to hear, thank you for letting us know about your experience!

You don't need to do that, our team would need to want to implement something like this first before we seek collaboration, I'll pass it on
-
Can you provide the logs from the System Information page when you see that happen please?

Are you making settings changes prior to launching the game? -
Playing Apex Legends (Hi Again!) :)
Netduma Fraser replied to ZahroKen's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Let's continue in the other topic as you're having the same issue, will be easier to keep track of what has been suggested already -
It could be the above, it could also be the ethernet cable connecting the R3 to the gateway, try with another and see if it continues, if it does it'll be the above. Should be resolved early next week.
-
Do this specifically Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.
-
If you can connect it via ethernet then yes you can do that. If you require PPPoE then yes you would then need to enter those details into the R3 to get a connection. Yes you can change the LAN IP of the router to that if you wish.
-
As above, you'll find all the necessary information via that link. Also comes with a 1 year warranty as well, starting from the date you receive it - not the date of purchase.
-
If that's the only thing that appears and you're in a game then yes that will be the server
-
What settings are you using specifically when that happens? Early next week I suspect for new firmware

A London COD server bypasses GeoFilter
Netduma Fraser replied to cedric108's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It's likely that in the evenings/during peak times the game is trying to keep everyone more to their region, as more people are online the servers become more under load, adding high ping to that would result in a bad experience. Over the last few days it has occurred to me that it may be using a relay server which could be causing games to appear outside the radius. I'll have to have the team look into it. -
owning xr1000 is joke right now
Netduma Fraser replied to xara's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Both, we send our changes and they make a final build, that's what we've been waiting for I believe -
Disable Private/Random MAC addresses for the WiFi on your phone and see if it works better then. New firmware will be early next week I believe.
