Steady Ping Not Working For Private Matches
Netduma Fraser replied to Twizzlir's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I don't think the team will have tested private games, I can certainly pass that on to see if we can get that working -
Some issues I encountered with firmware .23
Netduma Fraser replied to TG3NOC1D3's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Glad to hear some issues were resolved, attempts at games outside the radius is normal, as long as they get blocked. If you reboot the game it should work if you had to change it while you were on the game initially -
I've sent you firmware via PM, upgrade from Settings > Troubleshooting, once it's complete do a factory reset, then see if it is better please. You can factory reset from Settings > Troubleshooting
-
Refreshing the browser or rebooting the router should bring back SmartBOOST. Are you referring to Steady Ping? Try this, remove the console from the Geo-Filter and in the Device Manager change it to a PC then re-add it to the Geo-Filter, does it work better then?

Just responded to you via email

Keep needing to reboot because this screen comes up
Netduma Fraser replied to gpadragon's topic in Netduma R3 Support
When that happens again could you try accessing using this link specifically and see if it works please? http://192.168.77.1/dumaweb/ -
Thanks for the report about steady ping, I'll pass it on, definitely some issues it appears with enabling/disabling, adding when it shouldn't so we'll get that sorted. The higher in game ping includes processing delay, all games have it but not all choose to include it in their ping calculation. It's not something we can calculate. If the in game ping is up to 30ms higher roughly then the game should play well, anything higher than that could indicate the server is under heavy load and it's best to try to force a different server.

Problema dati non rilevati con dhcp
Netduma Fraser replied to Damiano Calafiore's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Non sono sicuro di seguire, quando usi VLAN vedi sempre un ping del gioco e quando usi DHCP non vedi mai un ping? -
Okay thank you for letting us know, there is some definite weirdness happening so the team will get it sorted!

I've sent you a PM with the firmware, you can install that from Settings > Troubleshooting, once fully complete do a factory reset just to clear out any remnants from the previous versions that could cause issues. If it still isn't work try the above please.
-
It could also be due to IPv6 potentially, if you disable that in LAN/WAN do you see it again?

R3 > Oribi (AP mode) > Device Manager
Netduma Fraser replied to mindlash's topic in Netduma R3 Support
They will show as wired yes for the reason you mentioned. I'm not sure if it's possible either as technically the AP is transparent to the router which is why the devices get the IPs from the R3, I will pass it on though. Did you rename them on the R3 or Orbi? If they have an IP it won't want to remove them so if you reboot the router that'll drop the IP and you can remove them then. -

We've never had anyone banned from using our routers/software in the almost 10 years we've been around so definitely what others have said

By not working, do you mean on the game you're not getting an open NAT or that port rules aren't shown on the page or both? Just responded to your topic

geofilter not pinging warzone 3 servers
Netduma Fraser replied to rvndo's topic in Netduma R3 Support
You don't have to do a factory reset and actually it's not really required anymore either. However, as there has been a few updates since the initial launch version (3 - 4) I feel that that is a good point to do a reset after another upgrade, just to clear out any potential remnants of previous versions that might cause issues. You can factory reset from the interface in Settings > Troubleshooting or as the other routers, hold the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds. -
Everything was fine until this morning
Netduma Fraser replied to Zepplike's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Try these steps and see if it works better: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. -
There are many servers clustered together in the same location so it'll be two different servers in the same location If a router is connected behind the R3 you'd have to be directly connected to it to access or if it has the ability, enable access from WAN As far as I know it's working correctly. Steady Ping affects your ping once you've got a game so you don't need to do any factoring

Thanks for the information, I will pass it onto the team to see if this helps in anyway, that's good about the link speed, does that actually convert into a higher speed test result?
-
What is the issue you're having exactly?
-
Interesting okay, so you should be getting max, thank you for the report, I will pass it onto the team.

Yes that is a good value to set

need help EA FC 24 ping improuve with R3
Netduma Fraser replied to Authentik06's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Thanks for that, it could be related to another issue we're looking at. In the meantime, try this, remove the console from the Geo-Filter and in the Device Manager change it to a PC then re-add it to the Geo-Filter, does it work better then? -
