It would yes

Change the console to a PC in Device Manager, then re-add it to the Geo-Filter and select the game, does it ping correctly then?
-
There is no conclusive workaround at the moment but it's been theorised that disabling IPv6 for LAN/WAN and disabling SmartBOOST entirely from the menu can help

Actual ping vs R3 reading. HUGE difference
Netduma Fraser replied to lefteris.lydios's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Could you provide the ID for the server please? I suspect the ping is timing out as their servers can't be properly pinged and the 24ms is the last ping reading it saw before the timeout -
As above, it's the credentials you use to access the interface on a PC
-
Okay good to know, this should be fixed for you in the next version then
-
Do you ever see the ping graph?
-
The fd72 is actually a LAN IPv6 address
-
Do they happen at the same time? If so then yes quite possibly - we know what that issue is, it'll be fixed in the next one.
-
I doubt it would make a difference but could you disable QoS completely from the SmartBOOST menu and see if that helps please?
-
Great let us know how you get on!
-
CoD servers don't respond to normal pings so we have to be clever in the way that we do it but sometimes it times out so we can't show you a ping
-
If a device such as a PC/laptop directly connected to the modem, so the R2 is not in the equation at all and it doesn't get internet then it can't be an issue with the router - unless you know if you require PPPoE/VLAN etc to get internet?
-
Sounds pretty good then, what firmware version are you on? Could you provide the logs when it happens please and we can take a look. Could you take a look at the CPU usage in Troubleshooting > Advanced also when it happens, is the usage high e.g. 100%?
-
As in can you use the WiFi name/password to connect the extender? Yes you can disable Adblocker per device which may help
-
So when you do this test: https://test-ipv6.com it still says no IPv6?

Traffic Prioritisation pc problem
Netduma Fraser replied to DayDaysTech's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Probably best for us to figure out the issue first and then see if the R3 could help. For example, if it is a case of your ping to the server fluctuating that can't be fixed then the Steady Ping option on the R3 would help you keep a consistent ping. See if this video helps, we just released it this week -
The latest update is here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/53938-new-r3-firmware-4041/ WPS isn't working at the moment and we're working on fixing that. Are you able to get it connected using the credentials instead?

I've responded to your email, we can continue there

Traffic Prioritisation pc problem
Netduma Fraser replied to DayDaysTech's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Quite the setup! Are you using the Geo-Filter? Even if not to filter just to monitor the ping. Is the ping actually fluctuating in game? -
If you're getting a public IPv6 address through the R3 then that's all you need, you are using IPv6
