  1. Both easy as just uploading the firmware you want to be on - you can downgrade/upgrade by doing that, no special steps needed
  2. That is how to do it, there isn't anything else to show in a video, can you provide a screenshot of what you're seeing when you get a game outside your radius please?
  3. The purpose of the router is not to circumvent SBMM or force far away servers, it's to get close servers and a lower ping so it may not always work. However, to force servers you need to do the following: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then.
  4. I believe we built it ourself, any URLs/lists should work as long as they're not too big
  5. Good to hear! All games will implement things in a different way, whatever changed must have been incompatible.
  6. WiFi is going to be worse speed/ping wise generally so that's something to keep in mind, if you want the best ping to the game you should try to be wired whenever possible. That being said the R3 WiFi is WiFi 6 so should be better than the model you have now.
  7. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g. R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are you using PPPoE/VLAN/DHCP Identifiers for a connection?
  8. When it next happens can you access and get the log from the System Information page please? That should tell me more about what is happening.
  9. Set the speeds manually on the router, then do a speedtest on speedtest.net, what do you get? It's likely you'll be receiving the correct speed, so you can then just ignore the speed test results on the router
  10. Yes I have heard recently that they're still planning to do this but I can't give you a date. This is the latest beta and still worth upgrading to in the meantime while you wait in my opinion.
  11. Revert the changes made by TCP Optimizer and see if it then works correctly - it's also unnecessary to use that kind of program
  12. Still seeing it so it's probably cached, PM me your public IPv4 address and I'll pass it on.
  13. Check the IP on the PC itself then check the Device Manager for the device you think it is, do the IPs match? What game did you select for the PC? Did you already have the game on when you added it?
  14. Could you have the error appear in English please? Could you record it happening via jam.dev please? That will allow the devs to see more information
  15. I can see an IPv6 address for your post - are you posting from elsewhere? I need an IPv4 address to give them.
  16. Most people purchase the router because they're having an issue with lag, however, if you want to ensure that your game connection is consistent then it would be helpful in that sense. I would just be aware that you may not notice much of a difference which it sounds like in your scenario would be a good thing - you wouldn't even know if the connection would have got worse as the router would cover you.
  17. Have you got the Xbox added to the Geo-Filter when this happens? If so remove it and check again. Otherwise switch NAT to Open in WAN Settings and see if that helps please.
  18. If you're not using the router to connect then you're better off asking ipvanish support rather than here
  19. It's very hard to give you a definitive answer without knowing what kind of issues you're having or what problem you want to solve, if you let us know we can advise further.
  20. For Halo because they made those changes to block Geo-Filters essentially, the only way you'll be able to filter for the game is to use Geo-Latency, you may receive servers outside your radius but it shouldn't happen too often.
  21. Without the Geo-Filter enabled there is nothing really restricting you, has anything changed in your setup/settings prior to you noticing this happening?
  22. Is it just on WiFi you're getting this or over ethernet as well? If both, if you connect that device to WiFi, pull ethernet, plug back in and disconnect WiFi do you keep connection?
  23. You'll need to clarify this for me: Ookla - Bypass Enabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed? Ookla - Bypass Disabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed? Waveform - Bypass Enabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed? Waveform - Bypass Disabled - Percentages lowered = Full Speed or Percentage speed?
  24. Just to clarify, without the Geo-Filter you're getting this issue? Does it give you an error message when it happens?
  25. That's fine then you should have a direct line to the internet through the R3, if you disable IPv6 and enable remote support we can try. They might need some more info as it seems particularly tricky, they might not but would be good to get you in that position.
