I have an XR1000 and I've noticed that whenever the router gets power cycled, it factory resets. If I manually unplug the power cable, when it boots back up it's been factory reset. If I try to reboot through the settings while logged in, I can't log back into the interface and have to factory reset it to get it back up. I have XR1000 Wifi 6 Gaming router, with firmware Version 1.0.0.64_1.0.49 and DumasOS version 3.1.1.

Is there a fix for this? I recently purchased my first Nighthawk/ XR series / NetDuma router a couple weeks ago. Spent mad time setting it up to get it right. I updated the firmware, manually to XR1000 1.0.0.64_1.0.49, since the router never detected an available update. Afterward I kept receiving an error (picture), that says: TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'i.generateKey') I was advised (see link to Netgear post) by netduma guys on that forum to reset to factory defaults to clear the issue, and not to use a configuration file because it would reload whatever the problem is. The issue is persisting after the reset. I don't know what else to do but it's a real pain in the ass. Netgear Post: Re: Firmware Update Failed (RX1000)

Hello, My Netduma R2 failed on me twice today killing the internet to the house. After power cycling the router and verifying that the router was not working properly by doing the following plugged directly into the router, no IP address handed out by DHCP plugged directly into the modem, intertner worked. I decided the next course of action would be to restore the factory defaults to the router and start from square one. I held down the reset button for ~30 seconds, waited for about a minute and plugged the ethernet cables back in. The NIC activity lights would blink and then go dark for about 3 seconds and repeat. No ip address were handed out by DHCP. I tried setting the NIC on the desktop to use the 192.168.77.X subnet and set the default gateway as 192.168.77.1, nothing happened. Am I doing something wrong? Should I hold the button down longer? As of right now I have no way of accessing the console of the router, DHCP isn't working, and everything is pointing to this router being bricked. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

First and foremost I love the R2. With that being said I have run into my first real issue. I have owned the R2 since launch day. There have been bugs here and there but nothing major.....until yesterday. I noticed the wifi was not available on any device in the house so I looked in the settings and everything was just how it was supposed to be. I rebooted the R2 and it did a complete factory reset. I thought maybe I had done the reset by accident until today when i had the same issue and made sure i clicked reboot. It factory reset again. Any ideas as to what might be happening?
