  1. Set up the ISP modem/router so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the R3 (found in Settings > WAN) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then. Are ALL devices connected to the R3? Have you entered the speeds you expect/pay for in the R3? What do other devices get via ethernet to speedtest.net? Console speeds are generally an estimate so if you're receiving good speed on another wired device the Xbox will likely be receiving that to and when you do a download on it for example it would run at the expected speed.
  2. How have you got on with the advice so far, have you managed to connect?
  3. The main difference is Classified Games is primarily DPI based and Games Console is just port based. As far as I know neither takes precedence over the other specifically, we don't generally recommend using both at the same time. For the R3 you can prioritize by device and/or activity so you could replicate this in a way but you set the order for priority, they don't compete. If you have both enabled then they will actually compliment each other, serve as a backup for the other.
  4. That's Monday after next but thanks! Would be best to check the manual: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/XR700/XR700_UM_EN.pdf However, I believe that you would have to use SFP to achieve those higher network speeds. You can use link but I think that would just be for local purposes if you can't use the SFP to get higher speeds. I couldn't say, that would be very expensive for us, never say never but it's unlikely at the moment.
  5. It has to be connected to an internet source via ethernet e.g. ONT/Modem etc. It can be the only router as long as that is done.
  6. It's because you're using a VPN, if you're using it then it's unlikely you will receive an Open NAT.
  7. I understand what you mean with 2 but that could get quite cluttered. I'll pass on the suggestions.
  8. It should stabilize then but just won't be every single game, let us know if it never stabilizes
  9. Could you clarify exactly what is happening please?
  10. Great to hear that! The initial things that spring to mind would be if it was added to the Geo-Filter, the other is Adblocker could potentially block it so try disabling that.
  11. It's also worth checking our YT channel which has some guides: https://www.youtube.com/@netduma
  12. I will chase Alex again. Sorry can you clarify, what do you mean a full/light server?
  13. I've chased again, sorry for the delays
  14. I suppose you can do this as mentioned by deleting/re-adding but something like a toggle switch would be easier, is that what you'd be after? You can select multiple applications at a time for one device It applies to the whole network if you don't add any rules I believe That's been long requested so may come in future We did have that on the old version so I'm not sure why it was removed, I'll add it to the list
  15. Okay thanks for the information, I'll pass it along!
  16. Exactly as above!
  17. Good responses above, also the router will download cloud updates periodically which can contribute as well as if you did an update from the router interface itself.
  18. You won't be able to stabilize every single server necessarily and from the looks of your ping there it doesn't seem to be needed, it's very flat! What game are you playing?
  19. Fair enough, thanks for the explanation!
  20. It's the only firmware for the XR that will start with 3.3 for the version number
  21. All you need to do in that instance is do a speed test elsewhere and then enter your correct speeds into the router - I know it's not automatic but it doesn't prevent you using the feature. XDefiant cannot be filtered at all at the moment so there isn't much need to have it added. I get your points but our hands are tied at the moment while we wait for NG.
  22. We don't add servers to the Geo-Filter - the Geo-Filter makes connections to what is available, if you cover that area you can connect to it.
  23. Adding a server to heatmap doesn't affect your ability to connect. If a server is available you can connect to it on the Geo-Filter
  24. No worries at all, thanks and you!
