Hybrid VPN on The Netduma R3 - Current Status
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Fraser's topic in Netduma R3 Support
It is on there, uninstall the app then re-install it, do you see it then? -
The timing on the dashboard is incorrect, that will be fixed (it's not the timing not the detection) but the usage is accurate, you could use anywhere from 10 - 300MB per hour gaming, it's really not a lot. I couldn't say on the modem but could you PM me the MAC address shown on the sticker on the underside of your R3 please and I'll get the team to try something tomorrow that could help.

Géofiltre et ping heatmap Hors Service

That's all fine, it looks like you might be connecting using https, use these links specifically http://10.0.0.1 or http://routerlogin.net -
Are you having an issue at the same time as this? Otherwise it's nothing to be concerned with

It'll be 10.0.0.1 then, see if it loads correctly then please - was there any changes prior to the error happening? -
Problema Bufferbloat xr500
Netduma Fraser replied to Dxstro66's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
It's very unlikely you're actually getting bufferbloat then but: I'd suggest testing with downloads while following: https://bit.ly/bufferbloat-test start with a high value e.g 95%, test, decrease 10%, test, decrease 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good, then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Important to note that Download/Upload on CC don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This is more of a real world test as you're actually doing traffic you would normally do. -
No I mean there just isn't the ability to prioritize ports on SmartBOOST - having the device added is more than enough. UPnP will only open what the game has requested, if you have an open NAT then you're good, no port issues.
-
You can't prioritize ports specifically and it's not needed with the device itself being added
-
Not heard of that before, so any new device that has never been connected to the router connects and everything goes down? Have you changed anything with DHCP at all? You still have warranty, you just wouldn't be able to return that late on

Connecting Netduma R3 to fiber internet
Netduma Fraser replied to Ironclad Calves's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Ah okay so they need to approve new devices, not often that happens but do keep us posted! -
A MAC address isn't case sensitive so you wouldn't need to change it in this scenario

Connecting Netduma R3 to fiber internet
Netduma Fraser replied to Ironclad Calves's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Have you accessed the R3 interface? It may be that it's reverted to the Setup Wizard for you to complete to get internet again. -
It really depends when you purchased but you're likely outside the return period, you can email [email protected] to query it further
-
What firmware version are you on currently? Close the interface, unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then access and see if it loads please.

I think you'll have to do a factory reset from the interface to resolve it -
Thanks for letting us know, we're hoping to get a firmware out as soon as possible that should help

Problema Bufferbloat xr500
Netduma Fraser replied to Dxstro66's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Don't worry about the auto optimizer, depending on the servers used it could fail/not give the best results. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode. Are ALL devices connected to the XR? -
You don't need to have the UK server covered, it's already pre-allowed. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like - I would suggest using the radius rather than polygon mode as you're only covering a single area - do make sure to cover a few servers Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.

As above, it doesn't work like that, the game doesn't use more than it needs, gaming is a very low bandwidth intensive application/service. What you're seeing for the usage of the game is accurate.

Netduma Fraser replied to Matvent's topic in NETDUMA Français
You just download it https://www.dropbox.com/s/n5nk0fxkhzosvp2/XR500-V2.3.2.134-dumaos33-rc14.img?dl=0 and upload it to the router as you would normally, no special procedure needed. -
Could you provide the log from the R2 when you attempt the connection please?

Reinstall the firmware please and then see if it loads correctly -
None of that would be necessary to get the console to be connected - is the console using automatic network setting or manual details? Does it work if you connect it via WiFi?
