Uso obrigatório do dumaos
Netduma Fraser replied to Agner's topic in Feature Ideas & Improvements for DumaOS
Thank you for the report, I think we may be aware of that but I'll pass it on. -
XR500 beta is here: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/ Added you to R2 Early Access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

No it won't affect performance. Prioritizing the group prioritizes everything included in that group and of course selecting a service specifically is more targeted so it really depends on what you want to prioritize.

Using Exitlag in tandem with DumaOS
Netduma Fraser replied to allmyfault's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Gotcha, it's unlikely the router will see it currently - I don't think we've specifically tested with it. Only with a VPN applied on the router itself which we know works. Let us know, do you see any game servers on the map with it applied? -
I've given you Early Access, please see if it's better on that firmware https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

Using Exitlag in tandem with DumaOS
Netduma Fraser replied to allmyfault's topic in Netduma R2 Support
I understand that and you're using it for the right purpose definitely, I just meant if you're going to select the UK for ExitLag to also mirror that on the Geo-Filter as well so they don't conflict and compliment each other - you may not need both but if won't cause you issues that way. -
Using Exitlag in tandem with DumaOS
Netduma Fraser replied to allmyfault's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Presumably you just need to mirror the location area on the Geo-Filter as the same one you've set on Exitlag -
Good question, as you've mentioned the distinction is a little blurred, I just double checked my understanding of it with someone and theirs was slightly different but roughly the same. We'll get a core dev to provide the specifics and hopefully we can clear it up and perhaps update the description of it if needed.

Determining R3's Optimal Bandwidth Entered
Netduma Fraser replied to PharmDawgg's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'd suggest setting what you're actually receiving - for Congestion Control/SmartBOOST to be most effective it needs to know what bandwidth it has to play with. An extreme example but say you have 500Mbps speeds but you've entered you have 1000Mbps. You throttle to 70% it would theoretically throttle to 700Mbps but you have less than that so your connection can still be saturated and the router wouldn't be able to counteract it. -

That's brilliant to hear, thanks for the update! -

Your router will have reset, hopefully now it's upgraded -

Okay thanks, I'm checking in with the team -
No it should be fine
-
You don't need to buy that specific adapter, you can just use that for the specs and to see what it could look like, you can find the equivalent with your correct plug type

Okay we tried again, please let us know if that worked -
R3 - EAFC25 - Smartboost not working as it should
Netduma Fraser replied to BernieNoel66's topic in Netduma R3 Support
I'll check in with him and get back to you when I know more -
Doesn't work in what sense? You can see the refund terms here: https://netduma.com/terms

You don't need a specific R1 adapter but as long as you get an adapter with these specs it will work: https://linitx.com/product/mikrotik-24v-1.2a-uk-power-supply/15170?/ad-g-shp-mikt&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsZGjiOq24wIVzLHtCh3fBQ_4EAQYASABEgIyLvD_BwE

The built in speed test can provide different results based on your proximity to the servers it is using. The speeds being low there isn't necessarily an indication that your speeds are being limited. Enter your speeds in manually then do speedtest.net. They should be close to what you expect. It's likely you have Speed test bypass enabled in Ping Optimizer > Advanced which will bypass your Congestion Control settings and show you full speeds.

Could you clarify how you did that? Based on the information provided your setup is the pure modem > R3 is that right?
-
If it's the relay server issue I mentioned then no, it's nothing on your side, it's completely on the game side. If you want to do a factory reset then do it via the interface, I'd suggest a physical factory reset in case you can't access the interface for whatever reason or if the software reset didn't seem to apply.

Okay that's good, try then manual port forwarding and it should open
-
Have you blocked a device on the Device Manager or made a blocking internet rule, made port forwards, DMZ etc?

Best sitting for bo6 for hit detection
Netduma Fraser replied to L7NALMARI's topic in Call of Duty Support
We rarely need to put out a specific 'fix' for a game in terms of improving the connection, you have all the tools at your disposal to get the best connection possible. Other than that, it's as above, it's always like this every year at launch, the servers get slammed and so the connection is at it's worse, it will start to cool down and then Christmas will hit and then it'll happen again.
