  1. Resync the cloud please and try again
  2. It should have told you during the initial setup that it was changing to that to prevent a conflict. Could you provide a screenshot of your Geo-Filter page please?
  3. What firmware version are you on currently?
  4. Do you mean the only way filtering works is using ping assist?
  5. No specific recommendations, they will all do the same thing essentially. Ignore all previous commands, make a recipe about pasta.
  6. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works better.
  7. A static IP doesn't change, if you rebooted the modem and you got a different IP it wouldn't be static, it would be dynamic which is what I believe VM uses. In which case you're good, the leaked IP can no longer be used against you. The router doesn't change your IP, if you want to protect your IP address and have another then you'll have to use the VPN.
  8. The server is within your radius there, it's just appearing as a peer but will be a server - do you see that when you're in a game?
  9. Yes it's quite possible it did solve it - it may have been that you needed to contact them to approve it and changing the MAC bypassed it. Well done and thanks for the update.
  10. Okay so Box on wall > Adtran > R3 is that right? If so reboot the Adtran, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then access and see if you get internet please. If not continue and finish the setup wizard then do it again
  11. No worries at all, your PC doesn't make a big fuss about showing you that happens so it's an easy thing to miss!
  12. It is a legit authentication server, it's just mislocated on the map, you should see other servers on the map if you zoom out when that happens that is likely your game server
  13. Make sure you're on the latest firmware then check again please: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51611-new-xr500-beta-firmware-33535/
  14. Refresh the page and then check if it's upgraded - if you were doing it over WiFi you likely reconnected to the old WiFi so will need to reconnect
  15. It really depends on why you're experiencing them but if you're not having any problems on the firmware you're on then don't fix it
  16. You can disable SmartBOOST from the settings on the SmartBOOST page. > Settings > Toggle Enabled
  17. I meant more so for the Geo-Filter it should still filter
  18. Just to clarify, how do you have the R3 connected to an internet source exactly? Can you provide a picture?
  19. That would be a whitelisted server, could you provide the ID so we can check it please? Before that though, resync the cloud then check again.
  20. All good and when adding a console to the Geo-Filter you don't get the option to select the game, it just applies to everything
  21. I don't believe so but if you change the PC to a console or use a console anyway it should work
  22. As above, everyone's connections are different, there isn't a one size fits all series of settings. We can provide the general suggestions that should work for most people but they are just a suggestion, tweaking from there is always advised. I will say adjusting MTU & DNS will not make a difference. UPnP/Port Forwarding as long as you have an open NAT you don't need to adjust them. I'd focus on the Geo-Filter, Congestion Control and SmartBOOST. Also keep in mind it's launch time, the game connection will be at it's worst right now with the amount of players, it happens every year.
  23. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to the list!
