  1. I've given you access to the XR1000 beta, so you can try that - please read the first post of the firmware topic carefully before proceeding https://forum.netduma.com/forum/153-xr1000-beta-forum/
  2. Good answer above - if you're not noticing an issue alongside the log you can ignore it
  3. No you don't need to do that, you have a connection and all seems to be working well there!
  4. That's great to hear, thanks for the update! In some cases ISPs need to be informed when you use new equipment, why I have no idea, seems like a colossal waste of everyone's time but the MAC address change can bypass it because they've already approved the Asus - to them you're still using the Asus.
  5. Your router has been rebooting when loading up the game? Could you see if you can get the log after the reboot incase it saves please?
  6. Those are good pings so I don't think Congestion Control is a problem. Force a server slightly further away, even if the ping is a bit higher and see if it performs any better.
  7. Could you try port 5223 instead please someone else mentioned that worked for them
  8. Scroll up the bottom part of the screen and then click the device and you should be able to delete it
  9. The tour is either because you've cleared your cache/cookies or you're using a bookmark/loading the URL which includes the tour in it - if you use one of these URLs does that stop the tour http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 Do you have an Anti-virus/firewall installed on your PC? If so it could be blocking commands on the interface, either disable it then check or add the URLS as trusted sites and then check please. A browser based Adblocker could also be blocking it. Did you delete a device that was added to the Geo-Filter at the time by any chance?
  10. Clear your browser cache/cookies or try in an incognito window and see if it loads correctly then. Added
  11. Well in terms of the reason for the recent rumblings that's because an ETA was provided by a colleague prior to Xmas and inevitably it was too ambitious and was missed, then because it was missed and it was the holidays there was going to be a few weeks delay at least and people were frustrated by that. This always happens when an ETA is provided and it's why I never give one, just in this case it was out of my control. The thing with networking is there are so many variables - it connects every internet capable device in your household, there are so many electronics out there and infinite combinations you could have of them. It's entirely possible that there are device combinations that are resulting in a weird incompatibility. There are loads of internet providers out there with different methods to connect, different line qualities, frequency of their public IP changing, games being played etc. It is almost inevitable that there will be issues because someone somewhere is using a device or service or ISP etc that we've never heard of or does something in some odd way we can't predict. I'm not saying that explains everything, just that it's something to keep in mind. I don't have the kinds of issues being reported either, some more niche issues I can reproduce and some I can't - considering I have/had one of the ones prior to launch it's unlikely to be a hardware issue. Some I'm sure will be user errors as well, I can and have gone through every possible setting/situation on the router only to find out that they have the cable unplugged or put into the wrong port or something else they haven't said/explained. You have to assume a certain number of things are true otherwise I'd end up having to guide everyone the very first step but that's not always the case.
  12. If QoS is working correctly i.e. there percentages you set are then the speeds you receive from a speedtest then 1a will be the best setup, if not then 2b.
  13. I'd suggest you run through everything here first: https://support.netduma.com/docs/dumaos-3/ Then if you have any questions/issues after that let us know and we can work them out
  14. What is your Congestion Control set to? What are both your pings as shown by the Geo-Filter/in game?
  15. Unfortunately there was only 3 minutes worth of logs in that one so it's not covering it
  16. In terms of the Geo-Filter it can work with your existing setup, if you want QoS to be properly effective though then it would need to be at the top of the network so it can have everything connected to it. In terms of specs the R3 is no match for that one so I suspect you'd probably want to keep it at the top.
  17. That's great, thank you very much. Copy the Asus router MAC address, then disconnect it, put back the modem > R3 setup and in R3 settings change the MAC address to the Asus one you copied. Apply, reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3, wait 4 minutes then check if you have internet please.
  18. No not on heatmap, that's what you're requesting us to do but on the Geo-Filter do you see the server on the map when playing?
  19. Have you seen the server on the Geo-Filter? Have you got the ID for it?
  20. In this case at least it was because your public IP lease renewed, are you able to contact the ISP to see if they can extend the lease time for the public IP for you? Better yet if they could give you a static public IP? Unlikely as it's usually something that costs extra
  21. I rarely see any games regardless of the company have any servers in Canada - are you 100% sure there are those servers? How do you know?
  22. Okay that's good, on the AC5300, could you provide a screenshot of its internet settings please?
  23. You can set them individually, Geo-Latency and doing Ping Assist in the ocean essentially invalidates the method you're trying to use. Though the reason it wasn't working was because your value must have been set too low, if you set it higher it should work without Geo-Latency enabled
  24. It doesn't make any sense how a game could restart the router - are your gaming device and the R2 connected to the same power extender?
