GeoFilter Not Working After New BO6 Update
Netduma Fraser replied to alecjb12's topic in Call of Duty Support
Just double check: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. If you're on the game already don't change Geo-Filter settings and then immediately search, reboot the game and it should work. -
NEW XR500 BETA FIRMWARE: 3.3.535
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Lew's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode -
Hybrid VPN connected but not working
Netduma Fraser replied to dissonant's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That's a shame, I'm not sure if it's available but the only other option that might be still available is setting the DNS on HVPN, it may help to keep the connection alive. Otherwise no unfortunately not, if it was the HVPN on the R3 (as we've re-made the feature) it may be easier for us to diagnose/make changes for a future version. -

Street Fighter on Geo
Netduma Fraser replied to carlosmind's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The profiles are an outdated feature we later removed, it just adjusts the radius, it won't be in there, how you have it set now you will be able to filter the game -
Do you know if you require PPPoE or VLAN for a connection? If not, reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes then reboot the R2, wait 4 minutes then go through the setup wizard (if you haven't already) and see if you get internet

Street Fighter on Geo
Netduma Fraser replied to carlosmind's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I've asked the team but I don't think it's on any router at the moment, you don't need it to be added for it to be filtered though: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager (if on PC) Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. -
Ethernet port (1) / access to internet not working?
Netduma Fraser replied to RedBearNAaron's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Just to clarify, do you have a connection to the internet on the PS5 when it's actively being used? If so that's fine. If it's connected to the internet but not actively using the internet it may not show as online. -
Oh right I gotcha, it should still get the latest cloud information but IPs are never 100% accurate so it's like pushing a rock uphill! They don't currently but it may be implemented in future. You can just report them in any topic like this one really, if you have some let us know and I'll pass them on to be corrected. That one sounds like the authentication server in Ireland so that'll be fine.

With Congestion Control active bufferbloat can never happen so I wouldn't worry too much about the values there. You just have to experiment with the percentages to see what works best. All devices should be connected to the router otherwise it won't work as well. -
What do you want supported in DumaOS?
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Liam's topic in Community Discussion
It doesn't look like you've tried the Early Access version where this seems to be a lot better https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ let us know how you get on -
Limitare banda con Smart boost disattivo
Netduma Fraser replied to Tonfaz's topic in Call of Duty Support
The only way potentially would be to set your speeds to lower than you have but I'm not sure if it will work and if it doesn't then no you can't limit the bandwidth with SmartBOOST disabled. -
Okay disregard that, it's a pure modem, not a router so that won't apply anyway. Just follow the other things I mentioned and see how you get on.
-
Lower upload for Congestion Control & remove the bandwidth reservation for the game & the game ports, it barely uses any bandwidth so it's not necessary. Try with steady ping disabled. Using the DMZ and port forwarding could create conflicts, also take your PC out of the DMZ, it is a major security issue. You may not even need the port forwarding. So you put the R3 in the DMZ on your Arris?

I'm good thanks, hope you are too, you actually already have access: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/

They're aware at the moment but will check in with them when they're back. I think you need to use a VLAN tag group for that but it's not our feature so I've got less knowledge about how that works https://kb.netgear.com/25724/VLAN-tagging-setup-for-Nighthawk-router
