Will the Netduma r3 work even with a wifi switch?
Netduma Fraser replied to Finkler's topic in Netduma R3 Support
What do you mean by a WiFi switch exactly? Do you mean an extender? If so yes. -
Disable Steady Ping, does that resolve the issue?

New firmware: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/57039-new-r3-firmware-dumaos-40290
-
That is normal behavior, it will not work without Geo-Latency. It is possible to get servers outside your radius with Geo-Latency but we are looking into why this is happening with Halo more often than not - they're one of the only games that has actively put procedures in place to prevent Geo-Filtering so it's a bit of a battle.
-
I just responded to your topic
-
Have you transferred over settings you were using on SmartBOOST for the console to the PC? Keep in mind you may also be running on different servers
-
Are you on the latest firmware version (.290 which was in Early Access but we've just released publicly) as we did improve upon this in that version

How read the steeady ping stast and Log
Netduma Fraser replied to fae7787's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Delay is the amount of delay that has been added to your normal ping to the server / 53 is the tickrate is how often the game updates information essentially, the higher value the better, you can't do anything to influence this / Bandwidth is how much bandwidth is being used for the game That's the number after the colons on your device IP address in the source column, no other way apart from this. -
I'll add it to the request list, thanks!

The latest public version is pinned to the top of the sub forum you're posting in: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/56107-new-r3-firmware-40236/ Upgrade and see if it keeps happening, if it does please grab the logs from the troubleshooting page.
-
You should be hiding these public IP addresses. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
-
Ah gotcha, you're on the latest then. Simple and the waiting/restarting should do it then.

It appears you are receiving an IPv6 address, what makes you think you're not? It shows you have a public IPv6 address in that screenshot
-
Okay grab the log when it next happens please - how are you connected via ethernet or wifi and does it still happen using the other connection method?
-
There is a server likely outside your radius that is being connected to but not visible when fully zoomed in. You are on an older version also so upgrade first. Also: Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Use Simple instead of Custom radius Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work better then.

Settings nighthawk
Netduma Fraser replied to ruhmer89's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
You should have QoS on based on the fact you want smooth gameplay and for everyone to be able to use the internet at once - that's what it was designed for. Have a look here: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000077073-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-qos -
Thank you, it would be best if you try this firmware specifically:
-
Thank you for the information and for your patience on this issue, I do understand it's frustrating, the hard part is we're not able to reproduce the issue but we believe we're getting closer. I've given you Early Access, please try the firmware there to see if that resolves it: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
-
The two servers you're trying to force are very difficult to force a connection to because as above they don't always seem to be available, it would be better to cover at least one other server when this happens.
-
No way to specify like you would want, I can add it to the request list but can't guarantee when/if it might be implemented.

Ping Optimizer stays at 100% Doesn't test lower %
Netduma Fraser replied to PUBzZz's topic in Netduma R3 Support
The home page reporting isn't very accurate currently but that will improve
