Mr Average
Ive set up my netduma got 71 down 19 up and stable connection. Got open nat, i play mainly bo3. Posted already NO REPLY. Why oh why do we have to go through the randomness of a forum. At the moment I'm lagging as usual even though i just paid £150 for this router. Frustrating that you can't talk in person to someone in tech support to solve my issues. It maybe something small but everyone and there cat can post an opinion but if that opinion is wrong even if in goodwill, how the F... am i supposed to sort out my problem? sharpz44
I would suggest you actually post what your issue is and someone like Zennon will help you out ,even though you are not talking to someone on a phone the guys on this forum are swift to help out and resolve your issues. A7Legit
Most people have an issue with BO3 and buying the router won't solve dedicated server problems or their (there end) latency and jitter issues sadly.
BIG__DOG
maybe if you actually create a post and describe your problem it can be solved. The router works perfectly fine and whatever your issue is it can be resolved. Netduma as far as I am aware are a small company with just a few people (hence having a forum) also based in the UK they cannot offer tech support to a worldwide base of owners being such a small company via telephone but I do know they can offer a 1v1 support if it is a more in depth issue you have. Please post your problem in the general forum and we will be more than glad to help and when 1 of the netduma staff or a experienced member (as we have some seriously clever members) see your post it will get resolved. There was a major game update on monday/tuesday which has caused many issues for many many people (including those without a netduma. I have the exact same connection as you do and i have decided for the moment to set my geo location to new york and east coast and I am having much better games there. There seems to be an issue with european servers in my opinion and I think fraser from netduma was working on a solution for the bleeding edge cloud settings to see if that helps. maybe someone will read this and follow my message with the bleeding edge cloud settings for you. Also, being rude out of frustration will not get you anywhere but patience will. We have all been where you are at the moment but we are all here to help each other. ColonicBoom
Does anyone phone tech support these days?! In the 90's maybe... You need to post the information requested of you and then you will be able to get the support you need. You received a response from two moderators, an admin and a few other people. Rather than provide the information requested, you ignored what we all asked for and just created another post instead with less information than the first post. So to answer your question, how the f*** you sort out your problem is to do what the f*** we all said already.

And which router manufacturer can/will talk to you in person? Feel free to sell it to me and get a netgear, asus, tp link, or better yet a belkin. Sure you can call an 800 number and sit on hold and speak to a Indian guy/girl (not to be sexist, only slightly racist) who is speaking form a script if that makes you feel better. Just calm down and plainly state your issue, show what you have tried, and let someone help you. This router is not going to be a magic fix for near end issues. You could have a faulty patch cable, a loose fitting on your modem, a power interference, and ALL the other variables in the real world that the DUMA has nothing to do with. -What are CURRENT your settings? -What have you tried and the results? -
Mr Average
ok. As someone who's not tech savvy i don't know what I'm supposed to post and onto what forum. I don't use forums but have been advised to go on a Forum. Im not sure what that means. I am calm, and if its someone called pennon to whom I'm supposed to speak to could dome advise how i contact him. I am not aware of netdumas company size, I'm just an average person who bought a product and i need advise how to make it work optimally. Thanks. There seems to be an issue with european servers in my opinion and I think fraser from netduma was working on a solution for the bleeding edge cloud settings to see if that helps. Apologies all for the slight derail but I'm having zero luck trying to force myself on to specific servers. Filter and strict mode off so all servers show up, place home over server of choice, reboot console while I allow anti-cheat to kick in, load up game, connect to all servers, turn on filter and strict mode and then search for a game. I'm trying to connect to the New Jersey server as it plays well for me from the UK on 80ms~ especially when I'm partied with a local friend, but I wanted to test it further solo as we don't always play at the same time for obvious reasons. One of two things happen; either the NJ server will show up in the filter, and I can then ping it but see 30 or 40ms (German or Danish server?) and a ton of EU players will show up as exclamation marks before getting into a game with them, OR the server won't show up, a bunch of padlocks will show up over EU servers and then eventually I'll connect to one of those. Big Dog, am I doing something wrong? I'm sick of getting no hit reg with 8ms ping to the UK server, and all the middle eastern warriors pumping me on 150ms ping, so I really want to just spend an entire evening moving from server to server testing each one for consistency. I have no issue setting a radius over France/Netherlands/Germany for example, but even if I widen my radius to cover all of North America I can't force myself on to servers there lol. Bleeding edge and auto cloud are enabled, and I've flushed the cloud several times, even allowing 4 hours to pass before attempting to play. You're posting in the right place, don't worry about that. The majority of the most knowledgable people are already aware of your thread and they have advised (and linked) linked you to the page you need to read - where it tells you what information and screenshots to provide. To make the Netduma work optimally we need that information. And if you are having problems we need that information. Otherwise we're just guessing. Bear in mind it's the weekend so anybody that is posting is doing so in their own time. And the majority of us are customers not staff anyway. Have a read of the support thread (it's been linked to already), provide the info and we'll be able to diagnose if there is actually an issue or if it's just the general BO3 problems that the majority of us see. Black Ops 3 (on Xbox One at least) is very up and down at the moment, some days it's great and some days it's painful.

If you wait two minutes then enable something else then obviously you will have to wait 2 minutes again. This time load the game up without geo filter enabled but everything else set how you want it, when you're sure you have it set up then you goto the multiplayer menu. Before you start searching for a game make sure to now Enable the geo-filter... then wait two minutes.

Loaded up the game, turned on the geofilter with strict mode on, PA 0 and my filter covering NJ to Quebec. Waited 10 minutes while I went and made some coffee. Two servers showed up correctly. I got 78ms ping to NJ and 93ms to Quebec, so it looked like it was working. I searched for a game and the fake NJ server came up again, 30ms~ ping, and tonnes of exclamation marks in EU and Saudi (as usual). I rebooted the game, waited for the two correct servers to come up by pinging them and taking a note of their IDs. I marked the NJ one as "real NJ 80ms~", rated it 100% and white listed it. Same for the Canadian server. When I looked for a game the 30ms one came up, so I named it "fake NJ 30ms", rated it 1% and blacklisted it. The red and green "curtains" showed they were both banned/allowed accordingly. Restarted again, ensured those dots were still in the red/green, the two correct servers showed up again. Looked for a game, waited 30 seconds, I was dropped into another game with Europeans and Saudis, 30ms ping again. All this despite strict mode, no ping assist, flushing the cloud last night and today, and even rebooting the Duma with cookies enabled to store those settings. I just keep getting the server with ID c76c4a150966383d (PS4). Spoke to Fraser on Twitter to report the ID and he suggested it might be in Italy or France. I give up nothing I do makes BO3 playable. The hit detection (or lack thereof) on 8ms ping to the UK dedi vs all the 3 bar warriors makes me want to cut myself.
