BL4CK OPS V3TRN got a reaction from TODDzillaInLA in Why Call of Duty is Broken 🎮: Activision Needs to Stop Catering to Bad Players 😡🚫
They won't stop , it's those BAD players you refer to who make the money for Activision . Check out the winners circle , the game has been rigged at least 2 years . If you want to win then buy a skin !!! ( Try it 100% it will work ) it will keep you winning for a few days !! and once you in the circle and your skin is displayed Jimmy 2 fingers and his mates will buy the skin .... and it just continues
Activision make their money from micro transactions not game sales , that is why they are not bothered about the huge number of declining players . The ones that are left spend lots of money which makes them billions literally . We have all experienced in game " Aim resist " manufactured "LAG" and other things , activation decide before the game starts who is going to win and manipulate the system of the fly Check out your combat record - it will be between 0.50% - 0.70% win ratio ... nobody can dominate COD no mater how good they are , have a good game and the hand of Activision will reach out and crush you !! This is just corporate America and the sick lefties , make everything fair and equal all the time . ( even if that is achieved through dodgy manipulation ) Maybe Trump will buy activsion and do away with the nonsense , all it needs is 1) matchmaking based on ping only 2) bring back none disbanding lobbies .... Just think about that second point why did they remove it ? there was great banter if you stay in a lobby and people literally made friends . But of course this mean it would not be possible manipulate the game in the name of SBMM ... which is not a real thing . The gods of Activision and their manipulating systems decide who is going to win believe me

BL4CK OPS V3TRN got a reaction from Tony in How are we feeling about BO6 Hit detection?
yes certainly try steady ping in expert mode , start at at the lowest level and see how you go . I kept adjusting upwards until I reached what I consider my sweet spot . Keep an eye on your ping in game I have it set to display top left of the screen , that's the one to follow as you adjust you can actually see it changing in game live as you adjust .

BL4CK OPS V3TRN reacted to Mrbchambers in How are we feeling about BO6 Hit detection?
@BL4CK OPS V3TRNI am going to have to give that a try, sounds really promising. As I too am in the UK, and normally play on the London server.
There is so much useful stuff in this stream, anyone else playing BO6 and owning a Netduma router should be interested in this info. It has been game changing for me.

Very interesting topic - this last week I have seen big improvements on BLOPS 6 . Here is my set up with highlighted recent changes which I beleive have made the difference . Playing on Xbox series X with 1gb up and 1 gb down internet connection . Based in the UK with a ping of 8-10 to London servers in game .
1 gb internet suggest no QOS required , for me its smoother with smart boost on and gaming prioritised . Even though the times I play there is almost zero activity on my Network apart from the xbox . Sliders set to 100% UL/DL . NO BANDWIDTH RESERVATION set in smart boost Open NAT Xbox in DMZ and no UPNP and no port forwarding GEO set to Paris Servers even though I am in the UK , in game ping 15-20 . The game changer I believe was steady ping (Expert) . I manipulate the slider until it gives me 28-30 ping in game . For some context I also tried steady ping on the London servers but it was hit and miss in terms of it stabilising , I would say 60% of the time it does not stabilise . Those Paris servers stabilise 100% of the time for me . It really is very smooth right now with the above set up and I am enjoying the game with crisp hit detection and very smooth movement. Actually getting quite used the Omni movement now
Regarding the screen - I play on a 55inch LG TV with very low latency and a game mode function . I keep flitting from 4K to 1440 and dolby vision but don't think I have seen any real benefits from them . This aspect I am not too confident on so any guidance would be appreciated , I lean more towards 1440 it just seems a clear picture . Who would have thought that with a 4K option !!
Anyway hope some of this helps somebody along the way

BL4CK OPS V3TRN reacted to Netduma Fraser in Is it safe to come back to R3 now? Is it stable?
There are so many variables when it comes to networking, e.g. I know you're using it in Asia, the majority of the people that post here are from the EU/US, I'm not familiar enough with the variables in Asia that may affect it to give you an answer. You're also asking on a support forum if a firmware is okay to use, everyone who posts here experiences an issue at one time or another, some have better experiences on more up to date firmware and some people swear by older firmware. Your experience will differ from everyone else so there is no one size fits all answer. People that are having a great experience will not usually post on a support forum to answer your question so the responses will be heavily skewed most of the time.
The best option is to try the firmware yourself, if it's not working great for you then you have your answer. I could give you a generic answer - it's the latest so it has the latest fixes so should be a better experience - then you update and you have a bad experience, then you'll come straight back and be like nope it wasn't good at all. You lose faith in my ability to provide you with suitable answer and no one wins.
If you're really concerned it then have a look through the firmware topics at the kind of issues people are experiencing and see whether you want to take the risk. We will always recommend running the latest firmware version (unless there is a major issue) but I'm of the opinion that it's your router, you should decide what works best for you.

BL4CK OPS V3TRN got a reaction from satinghostrider in Blops 6 & other games running rough online! Try this!
MY experience of LLM is it cancels out CC . Effectively you're playing with 100% of your download and Upload values . I did try this myself last week and it made no difference for me , still unplayable in most games and then I am God in others no middle ground . Reality is it will settle down , shame really as when I jump on MW3 its like night and day , super smooth and consistant I get killed by better players not an overloaded server or whatever the hell desync is !!

I experienced this on day 1 of launch of bo6 in every single game, I have stopped playing and waiting for the next update to fix these issues which would be likey season 1 update unlikely they will release a hot fix for this before then.
To everyone with this issue, there is nothing wrong with your set-up or anything you can do about it. It's the game, not your Internet or netdumar fault.
The game is broken, some people are just lucky to be on the advantage end of the gun fight they know this and they are abusing it. Reason why I taken a break from bo6 until it's fixed.

BL4CK OPS V3TRN reacted to Krush in CGNAT and Netduma R3
Hi!
It all depends on the port range your ISP will provide you.
To put it simply CG-NAT is the way ISPs limit the purchase of IPv4 addresses.
Generally, it divides the TCP/UDP port range of a public IPv4 address into 4 and uses it for 4 different clients!
If you don't want to take the risk, the best thing is to pay, even if for me it should be free on request!

BL4CK OPS V3TRN reacted to Proud R3 Owner in Bye bye R3
I personally have my R3 in a DMZ off my tp-link archer ax11000 just for the homeshield IPS. I have ip6 and STP disabled. I have Cox gigablast service which is 1Gb down and (cringe) 35Mb up. I set my speed manually to 800/30 and set CC to 80/70. I get A+ on waveform consistently and for the most part we can do anything we want on the network simultaneously with nothing being affected, including large downloads, video calls, gaming, etc. Yes there are some issues but I'm happy with my purchase. I knew going in the WiFi wouldn't be strong enough for my house and yard so I have 2 ax11000 routers in AP mode for that. When the firmware is fixed with minimal issues, I'll do more with it but that's not saying I'm unhappy with the R3, I still think it's a great piece of tech and it'll only get better.

So, I wanted to test my theory about utilizing SmartQOS to its strengths. I conducted a test and had quite the variation of results, but overall, I'm quite pleased with my findings.
It's all in the "FAVORITES" and how you set it up. But, I do think what does help is adding Cloudflare Application to the list.
I kept my PC using the 20Mb bandwidth as usual. But, I noticed I was getting a bit more milliseconds on my ping on bufferbloat test today.
The test below are as follows.
I rebooted my R3 right before conducting these tests. This first one is without adding CloudFlare to my SmartQOS
This second one is adding Cloudflare 3rd and Cloudflare Speedtest 4th right below Apex Legends and Gaming
This third one is adding Cloudflare as number 1 right above Apex Legends, Gaming and Cloudflare Speedtest 4th. The download on this test PEAKED as high as +3ms.
This fourth one is adding Cloudflare to the bottom of the list or 7th place of my list and Cloudflare Speedtest as 3rd place. The ms PEAKED at +4ms.
Then in this last one, I placed Cloudflare 6th and Cloudflare Speedtest 7th. Basically the last two on my list and this stayed consistent.
As I was taking screenshots of my setup. This is where I noticed that, this entire time, my "Speed Test Bypass" was re-enabled after I rebooted from the GUI/Menu. @Netduma Fraser
All these tests above are with it ENABLED(That I didn't know it was). But, this is my setup
So when I noticed this, I DISABLED "Speed Test Bypass" and this is my result
So, SMARTQOS priorities is essential in ensuring your setup is working properly. As @Spritekid242stated, make sure everything is connected to the R3. If you have a second router that's hooked up behind the R3. That can also be the problem. If your second router is not in "Access Point" that's behind the R3. This can also cause some issues. Do not have a router BEFORE the R3. Again, if you can, try to ensure that every device is connected to the R3 for the best possible experience.

BL4CK OPS V3TRN reacted to Mrbchambers in The New R3 is so good, I worry about what your competitors will do now!
I think it is that good. PIng optimiser 2.0 has given me back playability, even when our American friends jump on our servers, i'm still able to have a competitive game. The new geofilter is brilliant too, its made multiplayer gaming something I want to do again.
I don't want to appear to be blowing smoke where is shouldn't be blown, but this is the best gaming router on the market bar none, and I should know I own a few.
Just to add a bit of balance, I did have some teething problems in the beginning, though this was down to operator error, and shouldn't be a reflection of the R3.
I think you have done a brilliant job, and all the team should be very proud.
Thank you and seasons greetings to you all, enjoy the time off, you deserve it.

Background for context - R1/ R2 / XR500 with Duma OS owner and now R3 owner . UK resident Northern England
SKY ISP 62 DL 18 UL property 2 storey house . Game of choice Call of Duty - nothing else played
DASHBOARD
Great layout and OS extremely fast and responsive , much better than any of the previous routers . Also provide easy access to some of the more important functions direct from dashboard . Its also says good morning to me before any of the family wake up
WIFI
The reason I bought the XR500 sometime back was the WIFI on R2 was did not deliver to the whole property , the XR500
Was an improvement but I still could not get decent service on the second floor and the family moaned like hell , I eventually gave up and used the SKY router for WIFI which meant I have never had all the household devices running on duma . That has now changed !! For the two weeks without issue all devices are added to the R3 and absolutely no complaints from anyone in the family . I did prioritise my wife’s iPad to be safe !! This R3 even connects to my Tesla in the front drive and updates are quicker for the car , previously with the SKY router I needed a third party extender positioned on the 1st floor at the front on the house . This a massive HIT for me !!
SMART BOOST
Works fantastically well and does what it says on the tin . Gaming / Xbox / Wife iPad and Phone all prioritised and
No issues
GEO FILTER
So Netduma state the phrase “game changer “ gets thrown around a lot within the industry , with reference to the Steady Ping function. OMG they are on the money with this one , for the whole two weeks my game play has been a smooth as butter with great hit detection . Previously I had always used the polygon around the London servers as they had the lowest ping , now I noticed with the R3 that it can’t ping those servers or that is what it says on the right side of the geo where the ping stabiliser sits . So when I play on those servers I have a normal experience nothing special . So I used the Polygon on Amsterdam and France which are on a higher ping but the stabiliser clearly kicks in and I see the graph working . This is where I am experiencing without doubt the best experience on COD in many years . No exageration game after game after game , first couple of days I was thinking placebo effect but now over a two weeks later I know it’s the Voodoo geo !! And no doubt the smart boost contributing also especially now I have the whole house on the network with what is , let’s be honest is pretty poor UL and DL …. Average for the UK !!
Ping Optimiser
Well documented it does not work , I set sliders to 75/75 for now until this is patched . First couple of days I lost the ping stabaliser and had to do a factory reset which is always a chore !! however the router has been up and running for 11 days now , that really is the only complaints for me
General
The R3 I feel is pretty much plug and play with some slight set up tweaks which is great , I felt with the R2 I tinkered it to death always looking for the best combination . The R3 is much more user friendly and far less tinkering required
Team Netduma
Netduma are no longer the same start up as when I first stumbled across them and purchased the R1 , however they are still a small company with much less resources than the globals , yet in my opinion the are out performing them their customer service second to none
and much more accessible and engaged than the so called competitors ,and the forum is brilliant with lots of knowledgeable duma dudes . You don’t get that experience with any of the larger competitors . My view is the R3 is by far the best on the market for gaming in any price range
Well done Duma Team !!👋

this cod is the most rigged cod theres ever been; youve probably been nerfed by the game, to lose my gun fights, its not that well known; but activision uses a number of gameplay manipulations to keep (as they say) the player engaged; thier aim is to make everyone 1KD, its more than sbmm these days, is basically a fixed game...delete it, you cant beet the game with better networking!

BL4CK OPS V3TRN reacted to lefteris.lydios in MW2 Shoot First Die first? how to fix this?
Low ping advantage is clearly a thing of the past.
Please let me share my thoughts despite my poor English.
Imagine being in charge of COD multiplayer trying to develop a game for literally everyone. From the hardcore - old school gamer to the casual gamer. What would you put? Loud footsteps, insanely low TTK, safe places, SBMM, easy challenges, etc....What makes you thing connection quality is out of the equation? Probably nothing. If a 20ms ping gamer could dominate every lobby, the game (and the cash flow) would collapse within a few months.
I gave up, long time ago, trying to manipulate my connection. I have my XBOX plugged in my mediocre router and I play the game. Some times I do well and I have fun, some times my @ss is kicked hard. I can live with that.
