Is there a mac version for this like to test if not it whatever not going to blow my brains testing mtu

I noticed a improvement with latency and not rubber banding being shot around corners I have tested MW2 on several occasions other servers, with the MTU set at 1472 on the R2, my packets were fragmented at 1500 so I went with 1472, and left it alone, you can test your MTU from this link to download  TCP Optimizer :  https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php , look for the least fragmented mtu size and set according in your router of choice, but lower don't mean better unless instructed by TCP optimizer make sure you run it as administrator on your desktop computer to test, I have noticed as well its not a placebo, it works and has been proven by hundreds of people to help with latency, and packet loss, I tested a server thousands of miles away which I would lag bad on which hit reg was raised, but seemed more stable in game, didn't die in BS ways, its not a solve all fix all, or will fit everyone's isp internet setup, so test according, some speculate that MTU does little to nothing, which also been proven to help, may not be consistent, based on your bufferbloat, incorrect QOS, running wifi for gaming console, or pc, or other unknown issues packet loss on ISP side, to many devices on network,     

I can certainly pass that on to get tested/added. If you're on console then Games Console or gaming as a whole will prioritize it. I believe it does work with the Geo-Filter, if you're on PC you'll need to give it the PlayStation device type in the Device Manager and then add it to the Geo-Filter with the manual option.

As you say, it's something that will void your warranty. Even if your R2 suffers a hardware failure, we always do our best to ensure we can assist and are often able to provide replacements in these circumstances. However, opening up the R2 and doing this will prevent us from being able to do that for you.
The team are aware of the maximum temperature before performance will be degraded for the R2, and it's operating temperature is well within that. Making a cooling modification like this will have a negligible impact on performance and has a lot of risk associated with it. Of course, you can use those fans and place them under the R2 with a  gap between the fan and R2. As long as you're sensible with it I don't see a risk there. I'd advise against opening up the R2 though, the positioning of the chips will make it difficult to add a heatsink like the ones you've screenshotted and there's a lot of risk of damage.

Id have to agree with Liam on this.. You could use a fan. But I just dont think theres any room to add such a heatsink.. Unless you plan on leaving the R2 out of its case.. Go full nude! lol! I havent had mine apart but the most heat seems to be on the bottom center of the router. Which almost suggests the CPU is mounted there.. Which really leaves no room for such a heatsink..

I've approved you so you can access the Early Access forum now, we're working on DPI separately and running a test at the moment, it won't be long before it hits your router and you should then notice an improvement.

Which rule is this referring to exactly? The error message is appearing because you haven't selected any ports to be in the group.
Perhaps if you could let us know your use case here, and why you need to set this up, we can offer some more help in getting it working for you?

Good plan, still a good little router and someone will definitely enjoy having it while you enjoy the better hardware!

These things are certainly possible, we are currently working on the next iteration of QoS and I would say that it's pretty next level. When it is available (no ETA), give us your thoughts on it and whether you think these suggestions would still be a worthy addition and something you'd like to see and we can certainly look into it.

As long as it's showing red the game will be prioritized and we can update DPI to get some older ones showing for Network Monitor

yes I agree like a toggle for those not inclined for those features just a toggle for the basic qos and everything in between just PLUG N PLAY toggle BASIC TOGGLE 😀

OK, that'd suggest to us that we need to do a DPI update for those games then. We'll see if we can reproduce what you're seeing and push an update if that's the case.

Thanks for posting your feedback! There's a lot of big improvements coming to QoS that we're working on currently.
This sort of thing would be amazing for technical people like yourself, the tricky balance we have to strike is to ensure those who are not technically inclined can experience all the same benefits as those that are comfortable making these kind of adjustments.

Don't know if this possible or not but I would love to see a feature like smart queue management in the future of Duma OS. The current qos is wonderful and allows plenty of opportunity to experiment with your connection to find what's best for you, but for users that just want to hop on and game while ensuring latency and bufferbloat is low sqm would be amazing. I'm thinking maybe we can have an option to disable the cc slider and flower and select the sqm feature then simply input the expected speeds from the isp. If sqm isn't giving you great results, then simply disable and reenable the cc slider and flower.

Hey brother I need help as I’m having the same issue. I tried everything. I’m on PS5 I did traffic prioritization chose game console did advance set up and all but still while play COD BO4/Vanguard on PS5 “Gaming” DOSENT pop up in traffic monitoring. Please how did u fix this 

Generally the logs are quite verbose as they're primarily meant for the developers, it therefore shows a lot of background processes which can look like an error to a user, this is a common one and should not cause you any issues.

Can you provide a screenshot of your Network Monitor page while you're actively playing a game of CoD?
