Slingshot was referring to the XR500 but you now have access to the R1 beta which is available to download and install.

ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
I get your frustration, we are much closer to having the beta available. I would envisage just a few more weeks if all goes to plan. Hey, welcome to the forum! That link says to use .32 to fix the security update - the latest pre beta version is .56. XR500 is also in Open Beta at the moment so you can try 3.0 and help us find bugs. The latest firmware there has been removed for the moment while we fix a connectivity issue but we'll put another up soon. -
Adblocker unwanted block reporting thread

Click Whitelists on Adblocker, click domain for type and then try *.zoom.com and see if that works. -
That would be quite hard to do, to try and differentiate what players are in your party - they won't always be connected directly to you but sometimes via a server. Also we can't determine what the quality of their connection is to attempt to get a server that will be the best for you all. Just putting your location in between you all is the easiest option I think.

Thanks Alex, I'll pass this on to Alex! You can try to add Zoom to your Adblocker whitelist and see if that works. -
ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
You don't need an invite anymore as that forum is open to the public, we'll post a new firmware there when available. We do test the firmware before releasing it, being in a lab environment for a few users and a home environment for many there will be things we don't detect. I've responded to your topic. -

Then I would suggest putting the Geo-Filter location/radius in a place that is in between you both so you both get a decent ping. The router just works based on your settings not any one elses so that's why its a good idea to place it in between you both so neither of you suffer and would force you both on that server.

Double click the zip file to open it and then when it opens drag the .img file out to another folder. -

@Albeno it would have been downloaded as a zip file, did you extract the .img file from the zip and then upload the .img file? -
I'd recommend just one of you use the Geo-Filter - whoever is the party leader, then you can use that method but use Strict Mode. Yes you could use the Polygon mode and PA at the same time, strict on.

Could provide a screenshot of what you're seeing please? -
Have you added each other to your allow list? As it is 2 people restricting the search then game times will be a bit longer. Ping Assist method you're using is very good. If you use the XR500 beta you can use Ping Heatmap to find where the lowest ping server is and then force that. To speed up the game search you would need to expand the radius so you're not restricting as heavily. There won't be much difference with the XR1000 as it uses the same firmware so the same settings will apply.

Just to clarify, do you both have your Geo-Filter enabled over different areas or the same area?

- Take the WAN IP from the System Information page on the R2, then access the Vodafone hub and put the IP in the DMZ section. Also disable the WiFi on the Vodafone so all devices connect to the R2. I've sent you a PM, see if that helps please. -
Ping Heatmap suggestion/issue thread
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Don't add manually like that as it won't use game data that way which is required to get a ping response. Ping Warzone and then if you want to add one to your custom list click on the IP so it opens the panel at the bottom, then click the Add to list button. Yes that will be the server, so you found a mislocated server, if you add it here we can fix it in a cloud update: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/29742-found-mislocated-servers-let-us-know-here/ That shouldn't be the case, if you use the normal radius are ones you blocked being allowed? That's great to hear, it's certainly possible but unlikely as they're all flashed in the same way before shipment. Glad it's working now though, let us know if you encounter it again. -

As above I can confirm Ping Heatmap is working as expected: We will add a message when adding IPs manually regarding this to make it more clear. Thanks, will see what is occurring once screenshot is provided.
