  1. You've set the download speed on the router at 437, enter what you pay for and then use speedtest.net via ethernet and see what you get. You can ignore the benchmark speeds, they may not always be accurate
  2. The VPN service is for connecting to your home network when you're away from home, if that's what you want it for then yes. If you want a VPN to get 'easier' games or to bypass region restrictions then no that would fall under HybridVPN which isn't available
  3. What are the devices you're using to test?
  4. Where are you checking the NAT status, in the console network settings? If so, NAT type 2 is open, it just means you're behind a router
  5. https://support.apple.com/en-gb/102509 What was the WPA message exactly?
  6. Are you getting your expected speeds over ethernet?
  7. Are any other devices encountering issues with the WiFi? Disable the private/random MAC addresses option in the wifi settings on your phone for the R3 connection then see if that continues. The PS5 may be too far for it to pick up the 5GHz properly. Try these suggestions: Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _
  8. I'll reply to you over on email but I've not yet heard back from the distributor, I'll need to chase them
  9. Okay interesting, that's good to hear, perhaps it got stuck in a weird state, do let us know if it goes backwards again
  10. I think we'll be doing another version and that will then go public I believe. How often is the internet going out? Could you grab the logs when that happens please?
  11. Yes exactly, they are essentially a different kind of VPN service. Never say never but I can't see it for the foreseeable unfortunately.
  12. What is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R2? E.g. R2 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  13. @V1k1 that's interesting about the USB, do you have the router connected to a power extender or direct to an outlet? If an extender please try direct to an outlet. Otherwise do you have another power adapter you could try with? Then see if both issues are better please
  14. If you have the same issue without the XR in play then it won't be the router causing the issue
  15. If you take your modem out of modem mode and connect both direct to that do you get the same issue?
  16. Yes delete it entirely and then try again please
  17. Are they both Xboxes? Are you using the Geo-Filter when this happens, if so disable it, does the chat work then?
  18. While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please. For MAC it's ifconfig in terminal I think.
  19. That's the question isn't it, everything appears to be correct from what you've said so I can't see an obvious reason for the lower speeds. If you put the PC in the DMZ on the XR and do a speed test what do you get? Remove it from the DMZ immediately after testing.
  20. If your ISP modem/router has WiFi, set it up so that it is in bridge or modem mode, you can also use the DMZ. Copy the WAN IP from the XR (found in System Information) and enter it into the DMZ function on the ISP modem/router. You should get an Open NAT then.
  21. There are channels and widths, you can experiment with both. QoS/SmartBOOST looks good. Disable Geo-Latency and keep Ping Assist at 0, that should help keep games inside your radius but as mentioned they use relay servers so it's not always possible to force the server you want. The controller icon is the game host, in most cases that will be the server.
  22. I'd suggest making a new topic and we can go from there, include the results of the following in that topic: While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results there please.
  23. Congestion Control & SmartBOOST aren't really on/off features, how were they set exactly? If they weren't set to relieve the saturation of your connection then it's possible it could cause that
  24. Set NAT to Open in WAN Settings and try again
  25. Switch it to AP mode (this disables all router functions), can you get full speeds through it then?
