What are your Congestion Control/SmartBOOST settings?
-
Glad to hear it's working now. No the router has a built in firewall so you're still protected
-
Restarting R3 everyday to get to the settings.

Connection Test Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Mr MuRFiE's topic in Telstra Internet Optimiser support
Have you disabled QoS by any chance? -
Try this: Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _

Forget the WiFi network on the phone and reconnect - the option you disabled definitely isn't required for a connection -
If the logs were provided before the issue happened it wouldn't have anything helpful, the issue would need to be recreated and then the logs obtained

I don't think it is a problem on your side, you mentioned it happens direct to your modem as well with no other devices being used so its not an XR issue. Your ping from direct to the modem is low and very stable so really everything on your side is good so the only other option is your routing to the game servers or the game servers themselves. The latter of which I expect will get better after a week or so, basically when a lot of people get bored of the new update. The routing would be something you'd need to contact the ISP about but it would be hard to prove and I doubt they'd do anything.

So your setup is Internet > AX > R3 is that right? Copy the WAN IP on the R3 WAN Settings page and enter that into the DMZ on the AX
-
You provided a screenshot of the QoS page there with it disabled but it shows DumaOS Classified Games still prioritizing - is that still happening now?
-
You absolutely should not put your PC in the DMZ, that is a major security risk. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode

Console delay when booting up

Possibly the next one -
If it does happen try to get the logs from Settings > troubleshooting > advanced and that may tell us more

Geofilter not working at all for me

Great to hear, thank you! -
You don't need to do the test if you're setting the speeds manually

Glad to hear it's working now, do keep us updated!

I've responded in your topic -
Disable SmartBOOST as well just to be safe and see if that helps at all
-
Have you used the DMZ or made any port forwarding rules?
-
Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works. For friends follow the section at the bottom of this guide: https://support.netduma.com/en/support/solutions/articles/16000077072-dumaos-optimal-settings-guide-geo-filter

While connected via ethernet, disable WiFi entirely from WiFi settings, reboot the router from the interface, wait 4 minutes, access, enable WiFi, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes then see if it's more stable from then on.
-
Reboot it then disable IPv6 in LAN/WAN, see if that provides more stability
