  1. Download the file from the first post, access the router interface, go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Update and upload the file there
  2. The only thing I thought was the routing as well, I can't think of anything else that would affect it at all
  3. It is a support forum so you'll only see issues here! R3 will get better/more frequent updates than the XR1000 - the issues that people have mentioned are being fixed so probably by the time you received it they would be resolved.
  4. On the PC in Room B/C while connected via ethernet, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.
  5. Split the bands, give 2.4/5GHz different names and apply - you'll want to connect to 5GHz specifically for speeds Use a WiFi analyzer to find the least congested channel and change to that Experiment with the widths to see what gives better results Ensure it's in an elevated position - not on a metal surface Ensure there aren't any electrical / wireless devices e.g headphones etc within close proximity ~3 feet if possible Set the antennae to this position _ | | _ You can connect another router to the R3 via ethernet yes.
  6. 192.168.1.1 = LAN IP used to access the EE Hub 192.168.77.1 = LAN IP used to access the R3 Both will be accessible while they are connected together. Have you accessed the R3 Setup Wizard? You will need to complete that to get internet.
  7. It does have at least two new features and it's quite extensively redesigned. If you want the latest and the warranty to go with it I'd suggest the R3 really.
  8. If you're having an issue please make a new topic and we'll be happy to help you there. Also as Fuzy mentioned.
  9. Could you clarify? It likely has many servers in lots of different countries
  10. I've just responded to you via email but the confirmation is likely in your junk/spam folder but I can confirm it has gone through with the correct address and you should have received a tracking email a few hours ago.
  11. As above we're based in the UK and we don't do any military discounts in this country
  12. Great thanks, I've asked Alex to have a look at the game/servers as I'm not too sure where the official servers are (until we get it on Heatmap!)
  13. I can't see why that would have done it - if you re-enable it does it work?
  14. The R1 hasn't had an update for quite sometime and won't get DumaOS 4. The R2 next update will likely be DumaOS 4 but it won't be soon. Only the R3 has DumaOS 4 currently.
  15. Just to double check ONT (LAN port) > (WAN/Internet port) R3 (LAN) > (WAN/Internet port) R6 is that right? What mode is the R6 in?
  16. We can certainly do that, if you provide the IDs as well that will help us do it faster
  17. What is the model of the Room A router?
  18. Go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it works then please.
  19. Yes it does have a VPN service integrated but it's used for accessing your home network while away from the network. I believe HVPN will be in the upcoming firmware. If you're not changing anything and the ping is going up like that I suspect that it may be peak time congestion/congestion in your area. If you play during off peak times do you get the lower ping more consistently? Good to hear I was right about the CG-NAT!
  20. Did you by any chance delete the device from the Device Manager that was added to the VPN page? I think a proper reset will be needed unfortunately
  21. There are extra features for the Geo-Filter on 4, completely redone QoS as well and overall enhancements/design changes. It really depends whether the extra cost for that is worth it for you
  22. You can do that if you want to yes - if you just want the Geo-Filter then you could get any really
  23. Shouldn't make a difference unless one of those servers is outside your range?
  24. Yes the room A router, what is that? Ideally you should just use the ISP modem + R3 - is there any reason for another router being used?
