I get what you mean but we are a software company at heart, not hardware, it would take significant capital and would be disastrous for us if it failed. I'm not saying we'd never do something like that but right now I don't see it as a possibility to be honest BUT I will definitely bring it up to the team -
That all looks correct, double check the IP on the quest itself then check the Device Manager at the device you think it is, do the IPs match?

Option 60/61 is necessary with some ISPs for you to get internet, I can't see how this would be helpful for gaming if it's not required by your ISP. If you need them for internet then keep them, if not you won't notice a difference with them removed. HT160 increases the channel width and speed which yes is great but only works if your devices support HT160 and I don't think a lot do which is why it is disabled by default. The list on the Geo-Filter is determined by the cloud so it's unlikely if you go back to the other version that it will be available - it's not on the R3 for example which runs the latest cloud so that's why I've asked the team to add it back. The app will work better the more up to date firmware you're on, it does default to Online devices when you first go on it, you should see them if you switch to WiFi. Ping Optimizer is Auto Setup on the XR, it's not always working due to the servers used, it's something that has been hardcoded so needs an update to change. What errors are coming up when disabling Bandwidth Allocation?

Hello, welcome to the forum! What router firmware version are you on currently? So what is your aim, to block the internet entirely for the Quest or to use the VPN to access foreign content for example? Can you provide a screenshot of your HVPN page please?

That would be nice but very expensive, we've always tried to be reasonably priced so more people can try the software. A product that expensive, we'd have to hit the minimum order quantity and there is no guarantee we'd even be able to sell something that expensive. -
What is the web browser/device you're using to access?
-
Double NAT only occurs when you have two routers in play and one isn't passing through all the traffic to the other so it will be something to do with the static IP/DMZ not being valid anymore for some reason, check all that in case any of it has changed

Random disconnects
Netduma Fraser replied to xr7000000's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Nothing there that specifically suggests a disconnect but in LAN Settings, set the DHCP range to start at .50, then assign reserved IP addresses to devices between .2 & .49 so they're out of the DHCP range, apply, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes and see if that stops the disconnects. -

That's a very small log, can you provide the full log please when it happens? -
Random disconnects with new firmware

No worries at all then, the team will be trying to reproduce it anyway so we should get some good information from that! -
Random disconnects with new firmware
Netduma Fraser replied to Achilles's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you able to not use it just to double check if it doesn't disconnect? -
What's the exact issue now that you're still facing? You're too into features that if you don't understand them you could end up making things a lot worse. Either Either Remove both Leave auto. Long can help with transmission if the signal is weak Leave it on the default Leave it enabled for the moment - if you disable that your devices will not be able to connect to the router Enabled Have you changed anything on DHCP? It should be 255.255.255.0 by default unless you've changed something Disabled The Games Console option is a more broad option that can work for a lot of games that might not be listed. I've requested for the game to be added.

Random disconnects with new firmware
Netduma Fraser replied to Achilles's topic in Netduma R3 Support
No worries! Wouldn't really be practical to make hardware of that calibre. No worries about the logs, I don't think much is showing in there currently, the good thing is the pattern has been identified so we can try to reproduce it ourselves now. Are you using a switch at all? -

Do you use a switch by any chance? -
Are you using a switch by any chance? That's the leading theory at the moment of why it is happening

Thanks for that, I'll pass it on, are you able to try without the switch to see if that stops it? -

Netduma Fraser replied to FingerTester's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Added you https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ I don't think the delay in connecting is fixed in this one, more likely the next one but give it a try. -

Resync the cloud by clicking the icon top right of the Ping Heatmap page, do you see them then?
-
Yes you can do that and it should work

ethernet not connecting until 30 seconds after wake
Netduma Fraser replied to clarkjo's topic in Netduma R3 Support
We posted a new version in Early Access you can try, I don't think it has a fix for it specifically and will likely be in the next one -
We just put out a new firmware in Early Access yesterday, try that and see if it's better: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/
