  1. When doing the VPN method, are you only applying it to yourself or both of you?
  2. What router/firmware version are you on? Close the interface, unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then access and see if it loads then please. If so, go to the System Information page and then in the Rapp panel menu ≡ change the retries to 5, reboot from the interface, wait 4 minutes before accessing and see if it is more stable.

  4. Sounds about right, most games don't switch servers entirely when going to a new iteration, they might add a server here or there but it's not too common.

This is the definition from the waveform site prior to doing the test: "Bufferbloat is a software issue with networking equipment that causes spikes in your Internet connection’s latency when a device on the network uploads or downloads files." So by that very definition, if you're connected to your modem with basically no other devices being used at the time, there are no downloads or uploads going on to cause bufferbloat. So it cannot be bufferbloat. There are very few situations that could be causing it with that in mind but none of which we can help with - if it's happening direct from the modem the issue is above what the router can control: Faulty modem Incorrect results on the test - You could run PingPlotter to check the stability of your line - if you're experiencing this in game though then it's unlikely, unless the game is reporting incorrectly, however the changes of them both reporting incorrectly at the same time is low. ISP Congestion - Bufferbloat essentially caused by too many people in your area using the same provider and overloading the exchange - if this is the case then during peak times/days it would be particularly bad, with it being much better during off peak times - nothing you can really do about this Bad routing from the ISP
  6. Click the icon top left of the Device Manager panel and click delete offline devices. They're nothing to worry about, they're either devices we weren't able to determine a name/type for automatically or a device that may have been connected via different methods and so created a different device.
  7. Set the MAC address manually to mirror the one on the bottom of the router and see if it's more stable then please. As we're exploring all ramifications of that changing and see if it helps please.

  14. I don't know the answer to that yet until it has been tested. Generally most games without testing have at least a basic level of support so you should still be able to see servers on the Geo-Filter and potentially filter them. It's likely the servers are the same for the previous game so you can use that to influence your Geo settings.
  15. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g. R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode
  16. On the R2 Device Manager does it show the PS5 as a connected device? Have you made any specific changes to settings towards the PS5 e.g. port forwarding, Geo etc?
  17. What router and firmware version are you using?
  18. Not really unfortunately because if it's happening, on the modem and without other devices being used then it's not bufferbloat, it's just line instability/high ping - you could try using a VPN, this may provide better routing which *could* improve your ping

I don't believe it's a fault currently, more than likely it's not downloaded the cloud properly and a quick resync in the Geo-Filter and Device Manager would prompt a redownload of it but I've given you Early Access to firmware to try should that not work https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/ I believe you've emailed too so I'll respond there.
  20. Could be the same situation with that game, not sure when we would have last tested that one, do you have another more mainstream game you could check with perhaps?
  21. Do you still have access via a PC? Was anything changed prior to trying to login such as changing the credentials but you have auto login on the app selected for example?
  22. It's just a troubleshooting step, it will help me to determine if we just need to test the game again and update the classification or if it's something else
  23. Is it triggering properly if you play any other game?
  24. Usually when this happens it's because it's the wrong device - I know you've set a reserved IP but just double check the IP on the device itself is the same as what is showing on the Device Manager for the device you think it is.
