ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE
Netduma Liam replied to Netduma Luke's topic in News & Announcements
Yes, it works. You can use Geo-filter to ensure you're getting connecting to the lowest ping server consistently. All updates on new firmwares can be found here: http://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000132677-dumaos-firmware-progress -
¿Qué versión de firmware está ejecutando actualmente en el R2? Si deshabilita la otra regla, ¿aún muestran ambas reglas que están detectando tráfico prioritario?

In what way is it not responding? Are you now able to get to the interface via 192.168.1.1 or routerlogin.net? -
ANNOUNCEMENT: DUMAOS 3.0 IS HERE

They actually use the Steam SDR network so that's probably what you'd see. It means the only connection you see in Geo-filter is the steam SDR server you first access their network with, everything beyond that you can't see as part of their security measures. -
Free RAM less than 1% Latest XR1000 FW
Netduma Liam replied to Baturi's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
OK so I've had an XR1000 running doing various tasks for a few days now and I've partially reproduced your problem, but it's only a front-end issue and it should be resolved in the next firmware with DumaOS changes. As long as it's not causing you any issues, don't worry about it, the 'Cached' memory is also free but just displaying incorrectly. -
OK, sorry to hear that. Thank you for troubleshooting this with us nonetheless, we are working on new firmware for the Gen 3 so it will be more stable and more reliable in the next firmware. If you do decide to activate Game Optimiser again until then please do let us know and we'd be happy to continue to debug this with you until we've found a solution.

OK, if you reduce your sliders in Congestion Control to around 70% each can you run another Ping Plotter and check the results? Since you've updated, could you please factory reset the XR1000. That should get rid of any low-level code left over from the previous firmware that could cause issues/conflicts.

R2 loses all connection periodically, requires unplug

OK a dev has made a couple of changes in the backend. If you could monitor this for us and let us know if it occurs again that'd be really helpful. -

Welcome to the forum! They've switched to a more server-based matchmaking system so you can load into solo games anymore. You can however still use Geo-filter to ensure you're connecting to the closest server to you for the lowest ping. -
Welcome to the forum! Do you have filtering mode enabled? When you get connected to one of these servers, are you still seeing an icon for it on the Geo-filter map? Could you please provide a screenshot of how you've currently got Geo-filter configured?

OK that's all enabled for you, if you could please let us know the next time it happens we will have the full logs. -
Welcome to the forum! It's on our roadmap to get NHL added so it shouldn't be a problem. Are you playing on console or on PC? We can get it working for you in the meantime?

Hey all, If you haven't noticed, there's a new update for the XR1000, with Adblocker! You can view the changelog and download it here (If you've got auto-update disabled): https://kb.netgear.com/000064837/XR1000-Firmware-Version-1-0-0-64 You may notice that Adblocker doesn't have any default lists configured yet. To make it easy for you all we've uploaded the default list to a URL so you can all quickly add it to your Adblocker via the URL. To find out how, check the below KB article: https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/adblocker-xr1000/ If you've got any questions or issues, please create a new topic in this sub-forum and we can assist.

It's available on the latest firmware, please update to that and you'll be able to do this. -
Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
What's the make and model of the modem? Is it a pure modem or does it have Wi-Fi capability too? You could go to the interface of the modem and see if you can find any settings for PPPoE configuration? -
Welcome to the forum! Thanks for raising your concerns, would you mind letting us know some more information: What browser were you accessing the interface through? Were there any specific sections that were struggling to load, QoS for example? There is new firmware in the works so it will certainly get better with updates, but it'd still be worth us doing some troubleshooting to see if we can get things working better for you in the mean time.

XR500 QOS "not needed?"
Netduma Liam replied to CoachPanda's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
OK, that appears to be a pure modem so that's fine. How many prioritised packets are you seeing approximately, can you send over a screenshot? -
Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Can you disable all rules in Traffic Prioritisation, then test again on the Xbox? It may be that the Xbox traffic is still being prioritised and therefore superseding the limit set by Congestion Control. -
Qos not working anymore
Netduma Liam replied to Rickyrocks's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
First things first, could you please confirm if you've factory reset the XR since installing the latest update? If not I'd suggest doing so. Could you also confirm if your connection requires PPPoE, VLAN or DHCP identifiers in order for you to get access to the internet? Are both upload and download not affected in the speedtest? Is Congestion Control set to always when you're running the tests?
