  1. OK, did you set that statically in Windows or through DumaOS? If you now revert that static IP does it still work?
  2. It's not currently, I'm not sure whether it's going to be added to the XR1000 in an upcoming firmware. The feature itself was fairly speculative and there's no real way to measure if those packets are being prioritised upstream or not.
  4. OK thanks for confirming. Can you please do the following: Disable all rules in Traffic Prio Delete the rule you have that is currently disabled where you've got the PS5 added as a games console. Re-add the rule, select your PS5 and Select Games Console again. Reboot your PS5 and play a few games with QoS set how we've suggest so far in this thread Let me know how you get on with this. Just to clarify, this is the speeds you pay for from your ISP right? If not, can you let us know what speeds you expect?
  6. That would suggest that Ping Heatmap is showing a different server to the one that you're connected to. We'll be doing a Ping Heatmap update later today which should update it so hopefully you'll be able to see the actual server you're playing on later.
  8. Interesting, OK as a test, can you open the interface in Google Chrome, hit F12 in the browser to open the developer console, then under the Network tab tick 'Disable Cache'. Now, run another speedtest from the PC using speedtest.net or something and refresh the device manager page while you're doing this. Does the PC show as online?
  9. Welcome to the forum! The R2 is our in-house router, whereas the XR1000 is a part of the NETGEAR Nighthawk Pro Gaming line-up. We're partnered with NETGEAR and have put DumaOS on every router in the NPG line-up. The R2 get's firmware updates sooner than the XR1000 as it's what our developers write and test all of our newest features on. However, the XR1000 has more powerful hardware and Wi-Fi. As you say WiFi isn't going to be a problem for you, maybe the R2 would suffice for you!
  10. Your Bandwidth Allocation flower suggests that you only have three devices on your network, is that correct? If other devices (mobile phones, tablets, smart TVs, IoT devices) are connected to the Asus or another router, this could cause your hit registration to feel off in game.
  11. Are your speeds set correctly in QoS? Could you double check by going to Congestion Control -> Click the three-line menu -> Set Bandwidth Speeds and check they're 500/100 like you said. Can you also go to Bandwidth Allocation and click the three-line menu there, make sure Share Excess is enabled. Can you run a Connection Benchmark test on the R2 and send over a screenshot of the results?
  12. Thanks for the screenshots and extra info, that all looks OK. So when you're searching for a game in either FIFA or CoD, are you seeing any icons appearing on the map at all? Make sure you're zoomed all the way out on the map. Are you still able to get into a game, just not on the servers you've selected with the filter radius?
  13. Not 3.0, the plan is to bring you up to 3.2 I believe. We're working on this firmware for the XR500 currently, once we've fixed the remaining bugs we'll build an XR700 firmware with the same changes and that should be a much quicker turnaround.
  14. No, it just tells us there may be an issue with your QoS config. Can you now re-enable QoS and let us know if the speeds drop back down again? If they do, can you provide some screenshots of how QoS is setup currently?
  15. I'm afraid we don't offer that kind of support currently given the size of our team and the amount of queries we handle. Can you now please check the IP of the console in its network settings, then check on the R2 Device Manager for the device you think it is, do the IPs match?
  16. Can you power on the PS5, then show the ports table again? Of course if it's not connected to the R2 please connect it first.
  17. Auto is fine, that means when there's no priority traffic on the network, your speeds won't be limited by Congestion Control.
  18. Have you updated to the latest firmware and then factory reset your R2 afterwards?
  19. Is the address showing on the offline device definitely still the same as the address your PC actually has? If not, can you check the other devices showing as online and check that none of those are your PC? It may be that after you set the static IP, Device Manager saw it as a new device by mistake.
  20. We're still working on the new firmware, yes. I believe if you click the three-line menu in Device Manager you can download a list of all device names, then upload that again after the reset so you don't need to go through and rename your devices.
  21. Can you please first try going to the DumaOS interface and go to QoS -> Congestion Control -> Click the three-line menu in the top left of the Congestion Control panel and click 'Disable QoS'. Then, re-test your speeds on the PS5 and see if they're better, if they are, it's a problem with your QoS configuration so we can look into that and resolve it. If that doesn't help, please go to Device Manager and click the three-line menu in the top left of the device map, then switch to table view and send us a screenshot of the top 'Ports' table.
  22. It's possible it's just a visual bug, is there any way you can test if certain servers are still blocked/allowed? Maybe if you allowed a server to ensure you could play/talk with friends, you could test that you're still able to do that?
  23. Unfortunately yes, that can be the case. Perhaps a new provider may be more helpful in trying to resolve the problem, but it's also possible they will simply turn to the ISP who rent them the lines. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you to assist.
  24. So what's happening with Ping Assist set to 0? Are you still getting into lobbies outside the UK? What are you seeing on the Geo-filter map when this happens? Can you provide a screenshot?
  25. No worries, so go ahead and download the latest firmware from here: Then, go to the DumaOS interface by visiting 192.168.77.1 in your web browser. Click the three-dots in the top right, then click Update. Browse for the firmware file you download and click Upgrade. It'll take a few minutes to complete this. After the update, it's recommended you factory reset the R2. Go back to the DumaOS interface and click the three-dot menu again, then Advanced -> Factory Reset. That'll take another 5-10 minutes to complete, at which point you can go back to the interface and complete the setup wizard again.
