Since the reset, can you access the DumaOS interface if you use an incognito/private window in your browser?

Im new here just wondering which router to get
Netduma Liam replied to Exia's topic in Community Discussion
Are you seeing anything in the VPN logs when you try to use OpenVPN? If so can you provide these? -
Could you create a new topic with as much information on your issue as possible so we can look into this with you? You can see our return terms at https://netduma.com/terms.

We're aware of some issues with WireGuard at the moment so I suspect that's what you're struggling with here. Are you able to download OpenVPN files from Proton instead of WireGuard files and use these for your VPN instead? -
I believe the idea is DSCP if you play over wired, WMM if over wireless.

Device Keeps Getting Dropped from WiFi
Netduma Liam replied to mjay1990's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That's odd . On the iPad, could you please try going to Settings -> Wi-Fi -> Click the (i) icon next to the R2 Wi-Fi network and disable Private Addresses from these settings? After that, see if the issue continues. -
I'm afraid not, I asked about it this morning, there's is one bug which is now fixed, but I believe there's still a separate issue. We'll get an early access/beta firmware built when we've got more information on the issue and hopefully we can give it to some people such as yourself and you can test it. I don't have any kind of an ETA for such a fix as we're not sure whether we're going to be able to do that yet, but in an ideal world that's how we'll proceed.

OK, did you copy your Express VPN username and password from the ExpressVPN site? If so, can you paste those credentials into a plain notepad first and check that they don't have a space at the start of them? If they do, remove them and then re-enter these into the Set-Up section in DumaOS. See if it works after that.

XR1000 Slow Speed On Restart
Netduma Liam replied to GJambo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
OK, looks like we need to update your speeds in QoS. From the three-line menu in Congestion Control, click 'Set Bandwidth Speeds' and set them to what you'd expect to get from your ISP. After that, set Congestion Control to Auto-enable and re-test your speeds. -
Who is your VPN provider? Can you make sure you've downloaded the latest configuration files from them, then check those and see if they're still having issues?

XR1000 Slow Speed On Restart
Netduma Liam replied to GJambo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Can you send over a screenshot of how QoS is currently setup? Perhaps there's some optimisation we can make there. Is the XR1000 connected next to the ISP router, and the Xbox connected to that? Or do you have a different configuration you can describe? In general, connecting a router to a router shouldn't be a problem. You may have issues with NAT, but that can usually be resolved pretty easily. -
Can you clear your browsers cache now that you've completed the update and see if it works after that?
-
You can enable them if you want, they essentially append a priority tag to the traffic which may or may not be recognised upstream. There's a lot of other factors involved and I don't know exactly what else they've done so it's hard to say whether they make a difference. It won't make as big a difference as DumaOS' QoS as it simply doesn't have the same level of control, so keep that enabled regardless.

I'm pretty sure the issue actually sits on the WAN side of the R2 so we are looking into how we can resolve this, unfortunately it's quite a complicated issue (as always seems to be the case with IPv6). We'll keep at it, but in the mean time you'll need to use IPv4 with the Xbox.

OK, in that case the next best thing you can do would be to use the method titled Connecting the R2 Upstream of your ISP router (Medium) in the link we sent you earlier: https://support.netduma.com/support/solutions/articles/16000117883-i-ve-received-my-new-netduma-r2-but-the-wifi-password-doesn-t-work

Missing JSON response
Netduma Liam replied to David824's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
If you click the three-line menu in the top-left of the logs panel, you can download them and send them over to us. That'd give us more info and may contain entries to point us at the issue. -
As you're still able to access the DumaOS interface, can you please download a copy of the log file from System Information -> Logs when the issue next occurs and send it over to us?
-
Could you try completing the setup wizard from an incognito/private window? Just in case something cached is causing the problem.

Could you download a copy of the log file from System Information, then send that over to us? Ideally shortly after the issue occurs so we can find it in the logs if it's there.
