CRarsenxL reacted to Netduma Fraser in IPV6 LAN
IPv6 LAN just means the router gives them local private IPv6 addresses, like the router does for IPv4 192.168.77.23 for example

Doesn't look like you can adjust anything. It's either the cable you're using from it to connect to the routers that is faulty, the box itself or somewhere on your line. They should have tests they can initiate to see where the issue may be.

CRarsenxL got a reaction from kgrm in Magic Bullet for hit detection
After all the testing I have done.
I have concluded Duma OS classified is the BEST option.
Duma OS classified uses DPI to detect UDP traffic. I believe this is the lowest latency detection wise for that gaming traffic. Delete any other rules you may have, and use the Duma OS classified. TRUST ME.
The reason I say this is because the port based services and even manually entry add more latency IMO.
I have the xr1000 and I promise you, this is the best option. I will test the R2 later this weekend and report back.

So this one works better than src 3074-3079
dest - 1- 65535?

Not true. If you do that rule, it will not capture game traffic. (It turns on and off)
if you do
Src 3074-3480
DST 1-65545
tcpudp
the game feels significantly better and it turns off when u quit app and when u start a game, it stays on

Maybe I’m just better at cod and can notice differences. Not your fault

You need to specify its UDP.
I have source 3074-3076 destination 30.000-45.000 but the above will also work.
my rule only comes on when you’re in the lobby so there is game traffic, it will turn off when you’re idle in the menu. Also 3076 is only because I have multiple ps4s, with only on console you can also set 3074-3074.

CRarsenxL got a reaction from Netduma Fraser in XR1000 - QoS/Traffic Prior not working
My strategy is,
70/70 or you could manually try to figure out best speeds to get consistent flat line on ping plotter.
So say you have gig,
Your buffer is technically 700/700 with manual tuning maybe lower, like 700/500 or something like that.
Im not sure if the percentage that should be dragged to your console or pc but since gaming is only 2-4mb,
Id say drag 40% to the console or pc.
So the console will get 280/280 and the rest of the devices will get whatever’s left evenly.
Let me know if this method is valid. Please identify any issues you have with this method.

theres 2 firmwares below the latest, you could try each one but you would need to reset after installing the firmware and there is security vulnerability If you do try them.

When you prio something. It supersedes all the QoS functions. At least that what Fraser said. And I have zero clue what that means lmfaoo
