A suggestion for a tool tip. When you first use the geo filter in future firmware revisions maybe have a tool tip pop out that tells users about cod servers and to reboot the game after you make a change.

1080p has the lowest input lag.
120Hz has a faster scan out time resulting in lower input lag even though the source is around the 60fps.
1080p 120Hz and VRR results in the lowest input lag, the last factor is the input lag times of your monitor.
As Bert says the image at 1080p on a 1440p display will be softer than the native resolution.

Use chrome as your browser login to DumaOS. Top right of chrome click on the three dots.
Scroll down to Desktop Site and make a tick in the box.
Zoom the screen with a two fingered swipe if you need a closer zoom.

Just a follow up on this topic. After months of getting no where with BT, I switched to plus net and when the switch was complete. I didn’t change any equipment at all and it resolved it instantly. Looks like a change of port in the FTTC Cabient fixed it.

That is good news that that they can see a fault, some folk go on for years with no resolution because of intermittent faults.
    Good luck with it all.

    Try this set up.
Congestion control set to always 70% each slider.
Under bandwidth allocation for for download update and reset distribution
For upload update and reset distribution
At the bottom of the same page under traffic prioritisation.
    Untick DumaOs prioritised games.
Add you console manually by clicking add device.
    Reboot from the GUI.

Here in the UK we have a test socket behind the master socket faceplate.
You place a filter in the test socket then connect the modem/router to it via an RJ11 cable the you can test with ping plotter directly from the modem/router.
I do not know about the US etc so I would test directly from your ISP modem/router via Ethernet to a computer running ping plotter. Run a test on PP using twitter.com using no other bandwidth (use on an idle line)
If there is still an issue buy new cables from the wall to the modem/router and new Ethernet.
If there is still an issue contact your ISP

Reboot from the the DumaOS software GUI, not a turn off and on from the plug.
If that has no change, unplug the XR500 for 5 minutes and try again.

I just made a few small changes to profiles.
It is now mandatory to specify which DumaOS routers you own. You will be asked this question when you next sign in. This will help us loads with tech support! There are now optional profile fields for Discord, Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch and Battle.net - please suggest any more you would like added Some old/outdated protocols were removed, such as MSN, ICQ, AIM and Jabber. Thanks for being a part of the community!
EDIT: I'll add Twitter as well

The Future of DumaOS: Version 3.0
Last year we released our first major update for DumaOS, Milestone 1.3. You guys loved it, so we quickly got to work on the next milestone, packing it full of features to make your router even more powerful.
This next milestone will instead be a new version, DumaOS 3.0, and it marks the biggest leap forward in our history. It will contain a huge amount of features never seen before on a router. Instead of just sending out each of the features piece by piece, we needed to wrap them all up into one giant release. We will explain why soon 😉 (but don't worry, we're not doing an EA!).
We know you guys will want to get your hands on 3.0 as soon as possible and we are working very hard to make this happen. But until we are sure, the release date is ‘to be confirmed’. But in the meantime, here is a teaser one of the many features coming to your router in 3.0: Data History.

With Data History you can see how much bandwidth you’ve used over time and drill-down to see which devices and/or applications are eating up all your data or find out how many hours you spent gaming over the weekend. If you are under a data cap, you can also see if you are nearing your monthly limit.
This is just a small glimpse into 3.0. We will be gradually revealing more features over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for more announcements.
One final thing, we launched DumaOS Insiders yesterday. This will be a private subforum where we share first-looks at features we are currently working on and using your feedback to shape them. There are only a few spaces left, so sign up here if you haven’t already: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/29480-sign-up-to-dumaos-insiders/
    Big things are coming.
    Thank you for your support.

Zennon reacted to Netduma Alex in WORKAROUND: Login not working on Chrome Version 77
On the latest version of Chrome (77.0.3865.75) we have identified an issue where users may have trouble logging into their Netgear Nighthawk Pro Gaming router. This affects the XR300, XR450, XR500 and XR700, it does not affect users of the Netduma R1.
    ---
A workaround for this issue has been found:
Paste the following address into your Chrome address bar and press enter: chrome://flags/#http-auth-committed-interstitials
Change the highlighted setting to Disabled and press Relaunch Now
Now you should be able to log in as normal again

There's a Netgear knowledge base article about it here: https://kb.netgear.com/000061261/Google-Chrome-77-is-blocking-access-to-NETGEAR-login-pages-what-do-I-do

Instead of asking for a username and password as normal, the router will instead direct you straight to the Password Recovery page.
We are aware of this issue and all relevant parties have been notified, there will be a fix as soon as possible.

For the time being, we recommend that you manage your router using a different browser. We have confirmed that the issue does not affect Firefox or Edge.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Zennon got a reaction from Netduma Alex in Ping Plotter Quick Guide
Fraser has asked me to post a guide for PingPlotter, I will keep it simple like myself, here goes..

    Download PingPlotter Here

Type a close IP to your region I usually use twitter.com or .co.uk but as i write this both were connecting to the US as I am in the UK I have set the ping plot to bbc.co.uk.

Typing bbc.co.uk into the target address bar leaving the interval at 2.5 then pressing enter on your keyboard or the go button.

A congested line looks like this.

You can see the ping in real time, the ping numbers are listed to the left of the plot.
I achieved this by setting my congestion control sliders to 100% each so that the duma was not helping with local congestion thus saturating the line.
If you have a ISP issue from say a Intel PUMA 6 based CPU in a modem or ISP congestion an BT line fault (US/World infrastructure alternative) or even a faulty Ethernet cable, RJ11 or faulty Master socket face plate your line may look like this even when you set your sliders lower.

This is a line idle with minimal traffic being used that does not use a PUMA 6 based chipset or have any network issues.

This is a line downloading a full width saturating the line but using the duma congestion control at 70% each way

If you would like to post a bad result to the forum or save a plot to prove to your ISP there is an issue after ruling out your own network then press File and click on save image and this will give you an image of the GUI at that moment for you.

I hate Google more than anyone, underhanded, spying, rogue adverts infecting millions on their scummy web search with their own agenda of an internet.
But the GUI uses a lot of a PC's CPU and can hammer a browser.
I use chrome for Netduma products with one tab only, they can spy on that if they like.
My suggestion is to do the above.
(If you do not configure Win 7/8/10 it will do more spying than Google, Apple, Amazon & Huawei combined) so relax about Google
(These are my own findings and not of Netduma. I am just a gamer)

Set the ping assist to 0, delete the console from the geo filter.
Turn off your console, re add your console to the geo filter.
Leaving ping assist at 0, turn on your console.

It does sound like Ping Assist isn't working properly, as you would expect to find absolutely zero games while in the middle of the ocean with Ping Assist set to 1.
I imagine that matters are being somewhat confused by the fact that you're playing Destiny. Unfortunately Destiny has an unusual server layout that doesn't always work perfectly with Geo-Filter. This is why we added Strict Mode, because Destiny requires that all dedicated servers be whitelisted or it just won't work at all.
The other problem is that as Destiny is a "live service" game, there are often changes to the servers which we then have to catch up with and adjust accordingly. Sometimes, as you experienced, this causes some features to work one month and not the next. We are always attempting to keep up with these changes, and this is what the cloud update function (flush cloud) is for.
    ---
I'm thinking we should do a test which will hopefully narrow down what the problem is. I'd like to figure out if your Ping Assist is actually working, or if there's been some glitch in DumaOS. In order to do this, I wonder if you could download Apex Legends (it's free), put your radius in the middle of the ocean, set ping assist to 20, turn strict mode on.
Now when you start up Apex, there's an option on the title screen to see your ping to all servers around the world. If ping assist is working, there will be some servers with 20ms or under, and all other servers will appear as -1 ms, 999 dropped packets.
If servers appear in the list at a higher ping than 20, but are still being connected, then we'll know that Ping Assist itself isn't working. If this does work, we can at least rule that element out, and focus more on what specifically isn't working with Destiny.
