Being close to the cabinet does not make your ping lower it will however give you a lot of SNRM headroom.
Being close to your ISP and your ISP having good routing will give you the lowest ping.

You are close to your cabinet and have the max attainable sync.
Normally 6db is the default  noise margin but as you are close you have 7bd because of more headroom.
It will just be the speedtests not being that accurate it could be you are using WiFi to run the tests (always use wired with nothing else using the network at the time), others on your line using bandwidth while you test or a little ISP congestion because of everyone being at home across the country.
I would be very happy with those stat's.

If you sign with TT and have any issues then use the website https://community.talktalk.co.uk/
The OCE's are knowledgeable and do not read from scripts.
Make a post then wait for a reply as they work on an oldest post format, so if you bump the thread it will push it to a new post again prolonging the wait.
It can take a day or more for a reply but it is worth it if you are not tech savy enough not to need support.

    I use an HG612 modem > Netduma.
It works out the box and no authentication loggin or pass is needed.

I've found it to be the opposite. From my experience there are far more corner camping losers on PS4 than there are in Xbox.
I have much worse matches with crossplay on coz PS4 teammates are not moving or sitting in spawn all match and causing us to be spawn trapped, thus losing us the match

Never seems to make any difference to my connection to CoD. Been on interleaving for the most of 3 years now.
Interleaving or Fast Path, game plays just as bi polar.

This modem has already made a big difference to my connection, it’s like night and day.
no longer have that feeling that I am 0.5 seconds behind, I also purchased a ASUS RT-AXU88.
so far seems good, can only get better.

Good luck with it and remember that it can take up to 9 days for DLM to make a change 👍

I run the unlocked version of the HG612 (there is actually no need to have an unlocked version as the stats that are then available are wrong.
I was running a version of the FW that was no G.INP compatible which forced me on to interleaving.
I went straight to thinkbroadband site the day this happened for a thread on the issue and a link to the new FW and that fixed it. proving that G.INP helps on my line.
Though if you do buy an unlocked version it "Should have the latest FW already installed"
It may help in your issue.
A reminder Dynamic Line Management takes up to 9 days of monitoring your line with low error rates to then lift the interleaving it has applied, so it wont be a quick fix.

I understand many people think high speed (bandwidth) is what gives you the edge with online games.
A little education showing what latency / ping / routing is in a diagram would be good. Folk love their features

    Hi Zennon,
Thank you for your comments. That line is directly followed by "But if you want to win consistently, you need a connection with consistent performance." This was intended to summarise all aspects of the connection simply without getting to technical. But i will take your feedback and pass it along internally as it is appreciated

Hello do not flash the R1 with the Microtik firmware.
Is that the original power supply you are using as mine is not a 90 degree jack.
Please wait for a member of Netduma staff to guide you further.

It could be dead silence but when I watch the kill cam they are moving normally, they do not have the boost in speed that DS has.
I use the Sennheiser HD800 one of the most revealing headphones still to this day and sure enough when I am streaking or getting high up the specialist tree enemy's are silent.
The audio has other abnormality's, if a players starts to talk their voice stays where they started speaking from but the model is across the street now but their voice is next to you.
This could be part of the not hearing footsteps near you if they are sounding further away because of a bug which the voices surely have.
I played Blops4 last night, pin point accurate sound.

It's also not always connection that is at fault.

It you play lousy enemies and go 28-3 they look like bots. You have way more time to react, don't need to rush etc. When you play really good enemies that are really fast it might look like you have a far worse connection, but it's not always the case, the enemies are simply much better. In some lobbies you get your head blown off as soon as you stick your head around the corner.

XBL party chat at the moments breaks when one person leaves the chat leaving the rest that are left disconnecting. across the board no matter what router you use.
Also there is a connecting bug where you have to reboot your Xbox to fix it. (this is with no use of the geo and with standard routers)

    It really would not matter.

The 'servers' they are using now are also cloud based. And Google datacenters are generally located in more or less the same places as their location now.

When I ping Google in Amsterdam I get exactly the same ping as Vultr since both connect over AMS-IX
When I ping Google in Singapore I get exactly the same ping as AWS. My ISP has peering with AWS but I suspect to Google as well so really no difference there.

On the map you can see that most locations that have CoD servers now are the same as these Google datacenters. Ace is actually wrong about some bits, like in Middle East there is a CoD server in Bahrain. So they have a server at the moment where Google has nothing.

They will also never let you choose region or datacenter since this goes against their matchmaking algorithms.

    Too soon to get excited
