Netduma R2 Keeps Factory Resetting on its Own
Netduma Fraser replied to schmizzbeats's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That won't be it, if you could download the log from the log panel next time that would be better -
Seems like potentially a big block of IPs from that location have been divided up and sold to other places across the world, might just be easier for us to check servers in this location - thanks!

Netduma R2 Keeps Factory Resetting on its Own
Netduma Fraser replied to schmizzbeats's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Could you grab the log when it next happens please if possible? -
IPs can be sold from country to country etc so an IP that was once local to you could end up changing to being an IP across the world. There are just under 4 BILLION public IPv4 addresses, keeping tracking of all of those is near on impossible or would at least take a ridiculous amount of resources. Not suggesting we have a 4 billion address database ourselves, just highlighting the inherent issue with keeping IPs 100% accurate. The games change their server IPs from time to time and when that happens, if it's not already an IP we have previously changed to be in the correct location it can show the previous IP location. That's how a server showing in the US can appear even though it's in Europe. If no one reports a mislocated IP/ID then we don't know it needs to be changed.
-
No worries, we should be able to determine a range if provided with a few and then blanket change them
-
Any you come across just throw the ID over and we can sort them
-
This one is a Google server in Switzerland so definitely mislocated, we can correct that

I've given you Early Access, try the firmware there and see if you get the same experience https://forum.netduma.com/forum/151-netduma-r3-early-access/

What firmware version are you on currently? Could you provide some screenshots of how you have Congestion Control & SmartBOOST setup please?

NEW R3 FIRMWARE - DumaOS 4.0.540
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Netduma R3 Support
Are you able to access via a PC? -
I can't see how the method you login to the router would cause all that to happen, it doesn't really make sense and without the logs I couldn't really provide any explanation or even a starting point for devs to have a look at. If it does happen again try accessing on a wired PC, if it comes up with a similar page as above then keep trying to continue until it gives you the option to grab a log

Have you put the R3 in the DMZ on your ISP modem/router?

R2 randomly disconnects from internet
Netduma Fraser replied to SHIZZLE303's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Starting a new topic would be better generally - the original poster may constantly get reply notifications and also it just allows us to focus on you rather than potentially multiple people at the same time which can get confusing. I've given you Early Access so you can try that firmware and see if it works better: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/144-netduma-r2-early-access/ -
I suspect it happens with the Geo-Filter enabled, if you disable it do you then get the same behavior?
-
I'm not sure what you mean exactly but allocating bandwidth to gaming won't do much, games barely use 1Mbps. Not sure what you mean Adblocker is for Advertisements, it makes no difference to gaming, it's personal preference You can keep it disabled Yes its normal That's fine You can ignore the packet loss from Ping Plotter, you don't actually have any (it would show on the bottom graph if you did). I'd keep MTU at the default or make sure the value you've set isn't fragmenting, either way it won't impact gaming either. This won't impact gaming either but put in 10000. It determines how often your local IP addresses change for the devices You don't need to worry about the logs generally, they show background processes and entries that look like entries. Unless you've having a very specific issue that the team would need logs for they can be ignored
-
Ah fair enough, should be much better!
-
While connected to the router via a wired Windows PC, open command prompt, type ipconfig press enter and then post a screenshot of the results here please.

R2 randomly disconnects from internet
Netduma Fraser replied to SHIZZLE303's topic in Netduma R2 Support
That sounds fine, try the reserved IPs and see if that works better -
Yes that's correct, then try accessing with the URL I provided

You don't need to port forward, use UPnP and the DMZ all at the same time, that could cause some conflicts, disable port forwarding. Also remove the internet rule you've made for the console. It looks like you've changed Geo-Filter settings while on the game, make your changes before you launch the game, then if you need to make a change restart the game afterwards.

That file definitely looks incorrect and not like what I provided, provide the files and I can take a look

Do you have a PC you can connect via ethernet to the router? If you haven't done the reset correctly then it may be showing as the previous WiFi name. Hold the reset button for 30 seconds, release, wait 4 minutes then try accessing
