Traffic Prioritization Settings: Modern Warefare (BO4)
Netduma Fraser replied to East's topic in Call of Duty Support
Anti-Bufferbloat is not a feature to fine tune the CoD experience, it exists to eliminate local congestion which is what it does. Traffic Prioritization prioritizes ports/packets to eliminate jitter/spikes and does this automatically. These are what we recommend to use but everyones connections are different which is why we suggest that people experiment to see what works for them which is what's happening in this topic which is great. Bagsta the other day posted a video of his game the other day with good connection and he used our recommended settings so I don't think we need to chime in really as experimentation is down to the customer themselves to tailor to their specific connection, of course we'll help where possible. -
It should stay on what you had it set as before the reboot, assuming the setting wasn't just changed before the reboot as may not have had time to apply in that setting.

Found mislocated servers? Let us know here!
Netduma Fraser replied to Netduma Alex's topic in Call of Duty Support
I'll let Alex respond to this properly tomorrow as he is working on the cloud. Appreciate the effort you've gone into! I don't think Alex did a cloud update on Friday but he'll be able to confirm. I know some of your screenshots are showing different things but for the mislocated ones could you use the form please? We've tried going off screenshots before and it adds a lot of time just trying to digest all the information and make it usable. I think it would also be best if you could zip up your photos in future as it makes the topic really long and hard to tell where you are when going down the pictures. -
It's possible that VLAN could be causing it but lets take a look at some other options first. Most WiFi issues I've seen are to do with smart connect being enabled as not all devices support it very well, especially older devices. Have you tried disabling smart connect and connecting directly to 2.4GHz?

Help with ping/fortnite
Netduma Fraser replied to AdamShowtime's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
The game will try and connect you to whatever server is available at the time and they probably have their own calculations on what server to put you on. As I mentioned that is how the game works and we can't work around that as they pick the server once you're loading in. All you can do is leave in spectating mode and then just keep leaving the lobby until you get into the server you want, I realise that's frustrating but there isn't much that can be done if you want that server every time. -
Help with ping/fortnite
Netduma Fraser replied to AdamShowtime's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That definitely couldn't hurt. It's impossible to say, there could easily be 100's you're right. I don't think you need to specifically add them to the deny list because you'll still load in and block it anyway and get kicked back. I'd just keep it on spectating mode, see if you get the server you want and if not back out straight away, it is probably quicker than waiting to be kicked each time.
