Apex legends will not work with Geo Filter
Netduma Fraser replied to sikpup's topic in Netduma R1 Support
With testing and some of us working from home we haven't been able to get one out this week. I'll ask Alex when it's likely to happen now. -

We haven't forgotten, I have nothing new to report since my last comment unfortunately. -
I've just seen you're on the XR500 which means this topic is not applicable to you. You can find updates for the XR500 here: https://www.netgear.com/support/product/XR500.aspx or you can go to Settings > Administration > Firmware Update and click check on the interface to see if a new one is available. I'll answer your question here but f you have any furth tech support questions please make a new topic and we can go from there. You cannot prevent other players from joining the server you are playing on, it isn't possible. If you don't want to use the Geo-Filter simply switch it from Filtering to Spectating mode or delete the device from the Geo-Filter.

There will likely not be a fix until our next firmware version DumaOS 3.0 is released but I couldn't say when that would be, we want to do a beta soon. Meanwhile you can change the DNS on the router to the VPN DNS or use a VPN Client if using for the PC.

I'm hoping it will be this week coming! -
Hey, welcome to the forum! How have you added the device you wanted it applied to on the VPN Traffic Panel? How are you testing if it is working?

Hybrid VPN UNO PC Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Leo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
That may be the DNS leak, we will be fixing that for 3.0 and we'll be adding more providers as well in the future. Your welcome, let us know if you have any more issues/questions. -
We're really busy testing the next firmware this week so it may not be until next week.

Hybrid VPN UNO PC Issue
Netduma Fraser replied to Leo's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
I think you can continue adding 80/443 if you run into issues on said devices, no need to add it for every one if it isn't causing a problem. I found them here: https://portforward.com/uno/ I gave you the PS4 ports, even though it is on PC the ports may not be the only ones it uses so it may be worth adding the ports from the other platforms that you're missing and see if that helps. That'll be because 80/443 are not going through the VPN. That is certainly a viable option if it works, I can't see any specific issues here that would cause it to not work. You could try a blanket rule 1-65535 TCP/UDP src & dst to see if it works that way. -

Yes you're right, disregard that sorry, I confused myself! Yes that is fine, I've just found some extra ports that you don't have but should be required for UNO, try these the same way you've done the others and see if it works. TCP: 1935,3478-3480 UDP: 3074,3478-3479,3658,4646 -

It's more because those ports are required for all devices to work correctly online. Do you have another VPN provider you could try with or contact the provider to see if they block any specific ports? It seems more like the provider if the same process you use works for the other games but not this one. -

I would remove the 80 & 443 rules firstly, also what VPN are you using? Do you know if they block any ports? Are you using the Geo-Filter at all? -

We have got some IDs thanks to Eefo that we'll be updating the cloud with but if you could put in the ones you've added to the form as well that would be really helpful. I imagine if you ping them it will be lower than expected meaning they're mislocated. When we do the update that should resolve the issue. -

Hey, welcome to the forum! Which option have you used? Do NOT VPN these services or Only VPN these services? -
It will update automatically but if you want to manually do this then you can flush the cloud by clicking flush in the Geo-Filter Map 3 line option menu.

We will fix the DNS leak, PPTP would likely come later though.

You should be able to zoom in further than that and then they may be more viewable. Well the allow list is sort of like that, the whitelist we do just does it automatically so you don't have to do this yourself - only in circumstances where we haven't yet got the servers in the cloud. -

Try and zoom in as much as possible, they may be easier to differentiate then. -

If you can do the above and look at the map immediately as you're getting kicked then first allow them, you may have to do it a few times but then that should prevent you from being kicked. Then if you can get the IDs and put them in the form we can fix that. -

Thank you, in future could you copy/paste the IDs and then put them in this form? https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfoFZ8Yq6glCm2EzoV--qIWY6J4SCAufyVwTkGAkFDQ6x7ytw/viewform That will save us from having to go through pictures and typing out the IDs. I've done these ones for you. -

Fantastic, well done for capturing them! Would you be able to ping them and get the IDs? Then we can add them to our whitelist cloud so that it doesn't happen anymore.
