  1. A request doesn't always mean it is tested and supported but I will chase the team to see if they can get it added
  2. Glad to hear it, thanks for the update!
  3. That's always really helpful thank you https://forum.netduma.com/topic/51505-adding-new-games-and-applications-to-dumaos/
  4. You don't need to put a device in the DMZ on the R3 for the moment
  5. Thanks for the request, I'll add it to the list
  6. Okay that wouldn't be causing lag or hit detection issues then, try the above and feel free to provide screenshots of the results for comment
  7. You can ignore the modem question then thanks, nothing you need to set on that. Set the speeds to 1000/40 and I'd suggest testing with downloads while following: https://support.netduma.com/frequently-asked-questions/legacyfaqs/test-your-ping/ start with a high value e.g 95%, test, decrease 10%, test, decrease 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good, then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. Important to note that Download/Upload on CC don't have to be the same value & you may have a better experience with differing values. This is more of a real world test. What is the average ping you're seeing on the game/on the Geo-Filter?
  8. Sorry for the late reply, could you provide a screenshot of each of the main DumaOS pages (other than Ping Heatmap) and also the basic WiFi page and advanced Wifi page from the router please? Hopefully I can then spot something that may be restricting it
  9. The devices you're testing on specifically are they all WiFi 5? Do you have any WiFi 6 devices you can use so you can compare the results?
  10. Did you have this issue before using the XR1000? Do you have it when your PS/PC is directly connected to the ONT? If you could record a video of the behavior you're seeing that may help
  11. What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how have you set that to ensure all traffic flows to the R3? E.g R3 in its DMZ, modem/bridge mode Are ALL devices connected to the R3? What are the speeds you pay for/receive? Have you entered those speeds into the router? How have you setup Congestion Control? How have you setup SmartBOOST? What game are you playing? What platform are you playing on and how is it connected, via ethernet or WiFi? How have you setup the Geo-Filter?
  12. It's very likely due to the number of people then, I think it will just be the nature of the beast with that many sharing a line in. The router may well help but I couldn't guarantee it, let us know how you get on when it arrives.
  13. How have you setup SmartBOOST exactly? Are you forcing the closest servers with the Geo-Filter? Does the Geo-Filter ping read the same as in game? Have you tried forcing servers slightly further away even if they have a slightly higher ping to see if they provide better results? Do keep in mind there are many variables when it comes to networking, so there won't be one set of settings on the router that ensure you get great hit detection 100% of the time.
  14. Try this: Quit the application/game/client completely Remove device from the Geo-Filter Give PC PlayStation Device Type in the Device Manager Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter Set up the Geo-Filter how you like Wait 2 minutes Boot up application/game/client Then see if it works.
  15. It should just have a bridge/modem mode that you enable on the Tim and then you can enter the PPPoE details into the R3. Then reboot the tim, wait 2 minutes, reboot the R3 wait 4 minutes and check if you have internet
  16. You can find it in Ping Optimizer > Advanced but if you have fully disabled SmartBOOST you wouldn't be able to change it anyway. As fully disabled so the page looks like this?
  17. How do you have Congestion Control set? If it's 100% then disable SmartBOOST fully from the menu so it shows on the page that it is disabled, what do you get then?
  18. I think if you make a change and give it at least 10-30 seconds it should save by the time you next go to view it. By many settings at once give me an estimate, 10 settings in 20 seconds for example? That makes sense because your PC will shift to prioritizing the web browser for CPU/RAM usage and then back again for example, especially given that you're viewing a live page - I have the same issue but that's why I use OperaGX to limit the CPU/RAM usage when I play a game and then it's all good. Ideally you wouldn't have the web browser open at all when playing as even at idle it will take resources. I'd be surprised if that was a specific network issue. We're aware of Ping Optimizer not running 100% reliably at the moment and looking into it. In the meantime change the Congestion Control percentages manually. You can find the public firmware versions here: https://support.netduma.com/firmwares/netduma-r3/
  19. Okay no worries. If you haven't done a factory reset on this latest firmware then I would highly recommend it, it's a big jump from the previous version, that then may help with the WiFi. If you have already then a reboot, close the interface, wait 4 minutes then access should get you in
  20. Great to hear that, thanks for the update, we did put out a cloud update on Friday with a fix so looks like it worked!
  21. You have to hold that button for 30 seconds, release, wait 4 minutes and then access and go through the setup wizard. If you just hold the button briefly it will just reboot.
  22. The options where you pick a game by name can become out of date as games update things all the time that's why it can become inconsistent/not work correctly. Using the games console instead makes it so that it just works regardless. Classified Games can work that way too.
