How to setup VPN On xr1000 for ps5
Netduma Fraser replied to Reykc9510's topic in Call of Duty Support
As above, it's not currently a feature available on the XR1000 though it should come in the next update -
Congestion Control at 70% is a starting point and may not work for everyone so would be worth experimenting with the values to see if you find ones that work better for you. I'd suggest setting Ping Assist to 0 also. What is your average ping on the Geo-Filter and in game?
-
Exactly as above, we also don't have any specific recommendations for a VPN
-
Are you able to access the interface via a wired PC? Reboot the modem, wait 2 minutes, then reboot the R2, wait 4 minutes then see if you get internet
-
It is quite old, a firmware from quite near launch, would definitely recommend upgrading: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/50710-new-r2-firmware-33280/

17 is very good, is it a consistent ping or is it fluctuating, spiking up and down? Could you provide a screenshot of a completed Connection Benchmark test as well as your QoS page please?
-
What's the ping you're getting on the Geo? As in the specific profile button? If so I think we're removing that as it doesn't really do much, just changes the radius size
-
A VPN could potentially help with the ping if it has better routing to the servers but you can't beat physics so the ping would still be high and as above may be too high to get a game. Both the servers you mentioned are quite hard to force but I'd say I've seen more people able to connect to the Spanish server
-
Where is it you're actually located? CoD may have an upper ping limit where it won't let you connect to a game if your ping is too high

I replied to it a few hours ago: https://forum.netduma.com/topic/52323-this-rapp-is-not-yet-loaded-when-trying-to-access-the-dumaos/#comment-383210

What platform are you playing on? As long as you add the device there isn't much you need to do specifically, just make the radius settings you want and play

Disabling QOS doesnt disable AdBlocker
Netduma Fraser replied to DanologyUK's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
Okay that makes sense, DPI is what Adblocker relies on to inspect packets and see whether it needs to be blocked or not. The description is outdated as it was written when there was only the disable QoS option which also disabled DPI. I'll pass it on to the team to get that description updated. -

Disabling QOS doesnt disable AdBlocker

Yeah so disable DPI, does it stop working then? -

This Rapp is not yet loaded when trying to access the dumaos
Netduma Fraser replied to Spawg's topic in Netduma R2 Support
Unplug the router from power for 10 minutes, close the interface, plug in, then wait 4 minutes, then try accessing, does it load correctly then?
