  1. Are you seeing this outside of games or just in games? Do you see a ping increase at all and if so by how much? What is the model of the modem/router the R3 is connected to and how is that set up? Are ALL devices connected to the R3? How have you setup Congestion Control? It could be the ethernet cable connecting the R3 to your ISP router, if you swap it out for another do you get the same issue? I have sent you a firmware to try just in case but I think it's more of a setting issue or potentially the ethernet cable.
  2. We're aware it's not 100% reliable at the moment, I believe part of that is due to the servers used and partly a bug but it should still work, it may not every time though. If you do a speedtest.net then you could enter the speeds manually for the moment.
  3. What device are you trying to connect to the router using WPS?
  4. Did you have SmartBOOST prioritizing Twitch at the time? Was Congestion Control set?

Glad you're impressed with it, to answer your questions: Yes likely you'll need to port forward, it doesn't have that toggle option you're referring to though I've mentioned it to the team to potentially be added It's not dynamic in that it will do tests frequently and adjust Congestion Control - as the test disconnects you from the internet it's best not to have it do that. Otherwise yes CC won't change once you've accepted the Optimizer results unless you redo the test or change them manually. No those options aren't available but it has been requested so may be added in future Thank you, Happy Holidays!

  11. I think you'll probably need to do a factory reset then from the interface, once it's started close the tab and wait 4 minutes before re-opening. Once we get you updated this shouldn't happen

  13. You can't get better than that! That means your ping will literally not change even if you're doing a download. That's why it doesn't make sense for the triangles, you can definitely ignore them.
  14. Could you go to chrome://gpu in the web browser and provide a screenshot of the results please?

Start with a high value for Congestion Control, say 95% then do a test, decrease by 10%, test, decrease by 10% etc, until you get to a value that is pretty good and then try 5% either side of that value to see if it can be improved. It's important to note that Download & Upload on Congestion Control don't have to be the same value and that you may have a better experience with differing values.

  17. Interesting, the WiFi card in the PC is old, it only supports b/g/n but that shouldn't be an issue. In WiFi settings set the width for 2.4GHz to 20MHz, can you connect the PC then?
  18. Thank you for the picture, the way you have it connected, that ethernet cable needs to be in the blue port on the R3. It makes sense now why you have internet that way but it's not in the way that you should. Once you correct the cable and connect to the R3 via WiFi or ethernet and try to access the interface does it then work and can you complete the Setup Wizard?
  19. That's very strange, could you use the DMZ on the V hub instead of modem mode instead and see if that works?
  20. Have you changed any settings on the R3 after the factory reset at all? If you have any devices than can connect to the router do they have internet? Does the R3 show as having internet in Settings > WAN?
  21. Remove any priorities, activities and devices, any reservations you may have done as well then test again please. Also are you using Simple or Advanced SmartBOOST and does it make a difference to the speeds which is enabled?

  23. You'll need to re-enable SmartBOOST before you can adjust Congestion Control. In theory that should work but I don't think the Xbox would appear as it's an extension of the PC essentially, if you use the PC for the Geo-Filter it should then work.
