Yes it would - unless they've added new servers we're not aware of that we need to whitelist, that can happen from time to time

Anyone get randomly HIGH pings on nearby/local servers?
Netduma Fraser replied to mindlash's topic in Call of Duty Support
Ah okay, understood, I'll add import/export of denied/allowed servers/hosts to the request list -
It'll be prioritizing gaming or something else over the speed test most likely, do you have Congestion Control enabled also?

What do you get through speedtest.net? If you reboot your console then check again does it ping? -
I feel like i'm 1s behind everybody
Netduma Fraser replied to Ganerineur's topic in Call of Duty Support
85ms would probably play okay, try it just to see if that is what is happening -
That's great to hear, thanks for the update!

GEO-FILTER - XBOX LIVE (2024)
Netduma Fraser replied to STE_121's topic in NETGEAR Nighthawk Support (XR range)
There are multiple servers but should just take a few times to get them and then you'll be good. Make sure to add your friends to the allow list also. We're aware of that, it uses different servers than you might normally use and depending on your proximity to them and your routing you may get lower results but it won't be limiting you in any way. -
What's it doing now? Nothing later than .23 currently, the team are working on it.

There isn't any delay that I know of, I suspect the first updates will be primarily bug fixes -

Disable GeoLatency Disable PingAssist (set it to 0,0) Enable Strict Mode Disable Fast Search Then restart game or wait 10 minutes (in the lobby in the game). If that doesn't work, reboot PC/Console and it should work then. -
Netduma R2 - can it work as an access point?
Netduma Fraser replied to nuno10costa's topic in Netduma R2 Support
There isn't an access point mode on the R2 and if there was the features wouldn't work. You could do what you mentioned though by having it working as a router and also providing WiFi but the ISP router wouldn't be giving IPs to devices connected to the R2, the R2 would handle that. -
Exactly as above, experiment with the percentages to see what gives you the best results. SmartBOOST priorities may interfere with the tests so disable them before doing so.

I've sent you all .23 via PM, you can upgrade from Settings > Troubleshooting, once complete I'd recommend doing a factory reset

Can't optimize ping or speed test
Netduma Fraser replied to Millnervfl's topic in Netduma R3 Support
That's exactly how it works. It raises the ping so it absorbs any jitter/spikes you may have otherwise felt and thereby ensuring a constant smooth ping for the entire game. -
Hey, welcome to the forum & thanks for your purchase! There isn't too much you need to do, in terms of plugging everything in, that'll be covered by the guide on the box. The only thing I would suggest is to copy the WAN IP of the R3 from Settings > WAN and enter that into your Hub DMZ function. It's up to you but you can then disable the WiFi on the hub. Make sure ALL devices are connected to the R3 and that's it for physical setup.
